She walked over to the commotion, but "fell" into an illusion as Key Lime begun to help Ty

a starly walks into view. "Starly, is that you?" it didn't look very happy. "Sta!" it cawed fiercely
"Starly, it's me!" the starly looked annoyed now. "Sta" it said again. Tears were running down Mekayla's face. "Please stay, you're not gonna leave me! This place is right where you need to be!" She said as the starly just got angrier and angrier. Then something weird happened. The starly lifted it's wing, and she saw the missing feathers and the blistered skin. The sign of the mysterious bird-pokemon disease. Then she saw another bird walk into view, and it was like Mekayla was being stabbed in the heart. It was her old pidgeotto, the one who was haunted by the spirit of a banette, and became a fragile shell of the pidgeotto's old self. Mekayla was overwhelmed, tears running down her face. She remembered the horrid day when the starly died because of the disease, and the day the pidgeotto was possessed...
