INTRODUCTION

After working on many different fanfiction stories and having no luck with knowing who or who'd read them I decided to work on something that isn't primarily based on or focused around one or more fictional characters. This is something that I've always wanted to do since it involves a world hidden from ours where all fictional characters live. Yet a story based on a world where fictional characters isn't a good plot on it's own.

Enter an epic adventure story where an original character is thrown into this world and has to help her new friends against an organization that wishes to take away the pure energy of the entertainment that these characters bring to those in our world who watch, play as, and or read about on a daily basis.

As this is based in a world where fictional characters are real there are a few things that you should know. Their world and ours is separate, but connected. It's rare for someone to enter the realm of the fictional characters. Take the game Undertale as an example. In the game the world of monsters is underground and separated from the human's realm, which is above ground. That's pretty much how the real world and fictional world works only the fictional characters have always been separate from our plane of existence.

I'm going to be working on this as I do any of my ideas. I'll write a little at a time and edit in more until each chapter is complete. I've also created a thread in the forum titled Fandoms: Then and Now, which people can talk about the different fandoms that they have seen, like, or overall know. This will help me know who knows about different fandoms that I plan to use in this story.

That's it for now. I'll begin work on the first chapter when I can.

This is the first chapter of my fanfiction project Into Fiction. Something I didn't mention in the introduction is that the main character here is known as Fan. It isn't her real name since the fictional characters, the main inhabitants of the World of Fiction, always call the rare few that fall into their world Fan. This is mainly because the people, who enter Fiction are fans of fandoms.

CHAPTER 1

The young girl felt as if she was falling. Everything around her was light, a bright swirling vortex. She didn't know how she had gotten here, but she did know that she had fallen. The last thing she had remembered was that she had been looking down a large hole and noticed a bright light within it. As she had leaned forward for a better look she had stumbled and fell into the hole, directly in the path of the light.

She knew that she had entered that light. The hole had been dark at first, which was what it should have stayed. Then she was in this realm of swirling light and she didn't know how she was going to get out.

As she waited for the end she heard a voice. It was soft at first, but as she listened more carefully she made out what it was saying:

"Be brave and believe in what is right..."

As the voice faded the girl closed her dark green eyes and allowed the darkness to swallow her up...

(This is it for now. I know it seems like a mix of Undertale and Kingdom Hearts, but that's going to change as the plot kicks in. I'm going to edit this with the next scene sometime tomorrow morning. Until then you're going to have to wait. This chapter is not over yet.)
