As some of you may noticed (or not), a few months ago a new Pokémon Game was announced. It's called Pokémon GO! and it'll be an App for Android and iOS systems.

It's a free Download Game that brings Pokémon into the 'real world'.

I'm really excited about this game. I hope it'll work on my mobile phone, since I can't play the newer Pokémon Games because I don't have a 3DS. I would absolutely download it and play.

What do you think about this? Are you excited, too? Would you play the game?

To be honest, I'm bothered about the fact that it's a free app. Because firstly, people who have no clue about Pokemon will download it, and play it cluelessley. And second... We would probably need to pay £1.00 for x3 Pokeballs or something like that. I won't mind the in-app purchases, but I have a feeling they will make every little thing purchasable. Like, the could have made the game at least £10.00? A normal price for a Pokemon game, and I wouldn't mind buying it at all. (If not, for more)

Other than that. From looking at the trailer, it seems that there will only be Kanto Pokemon for the time being? I don't know if it's only shown like that for the trailer, but I REALLY hope all other gens will be included as well, since I'm not too fond of Kanto.

Overall, I doubt the game will be as awesome as it's shown in the trailer xD But I am looking forward to see what it'll be like.

@Toothie: I think it's better when it's free. I can't pay anything for Apps. My parents would be angry if I'd do so.
And as far as I'm informed, any in-app purchases will be with virtual money; I guess this can be earned through battles, like the Games. You can also do in-app purchases for special features, to make the game easier. (But I don't think this is really worth it xD)

And I guess they showed Pokémon that every Pokémonfan knows, since some Fans didn't play all the games or had no time to watch every Anime Episode or read the mangas (or simply don't like the newer Pokémon). I don't know it, but I think so. ^-^
Anyways, I hope, that other Generation's Pokémon will be included as well.

also, kinda doubt that will be amazing like it is on the Trailer. I also don't have any kind of Smartphone, so I guess I will use my father's.

Apparently there is a bracelet that you can buy that will allow people to catch pokemon without a smart device. They'll be able to see what they caught when they do get access. So I'm guessing some of the game's earnings will come from the watches. One thing I found neat is that pokemon will be found in certain places. So I'm guessing people near the beach will have a good chance at getting wingulls and such while cold places will have ice type pokemon

It won't be virtual money. If an app like that is free, then it'll definitely have in-app purchases. If there will be virtual currency, then you would probably need to buy those as well (Optional, if you want easier and more gameplay)

I was very excited when a friend told me about this game and when I saw the trailer. But unfortunately, my phone is Windows and then don't seen to have any plans on making a port for WP.
