Amy checked out the dinner table, her stomach growling already. "I wish I was this amazing!" She chucked, pulling him into a hug. "You're a love, getting up and doing all, of this... you're so sweet. I'm so lucky."

Ethan blushed. "Come, on, they're not that good. But if you like them I can make them everyday." He said, having already eaten 3 of them. "I'm more than lucky to have you too. Can you imagine what would've happened if I was never sent to the Pokemon World?" He murmured, tryingto get these thoughts out of his head.

Oddish was just sitting next to them, smiling and clapping.

"I don't want tomeven think about that. My worst nightmare... I'd never ever have gotten to meet someone this amazing." Digging into a pancake, she sighed in bliss as it melted in her mouth. "Best breakfast ever..." She muttered, eating the rest happily.

Ethan sighed. "I'm full. We have to leave some for Mina and Kadabra anyways." He said, trying to hold his laughter. "I haven't eaten this much ever since.... ever since my mother made these pancakes for me." He whispered, while many memories were coming back to him. He started remembering all the good times he had with his mother before she died.

He remembered a research center where his mother used to work. He remembered being tied in a chair after visiting his mother's office to pick up some of her things after she died.

More and more bad memories started coming back to him. "Anyways." He said after a long pause, faking a smile.

Amy nodded. "Alright, I'll go wake up Mina." Heading through the halls, Amy opened the door to Mina's bedroom. Grinning evilly, she yelled: "CANNONBALL!" Waking up Mina, screaming. Amy jumped on her, making her flatter than the pancakes she ate for breakfast. There was a tiny moan of pain, followed by muffled yelling.

Ethan heard Amy screaming and laughed. He made more pancakes, as the ones that remained on the table weren't enough.

He did his best not to 'explore' all the bad memories that flashed through his mind a minute ago.

Amy ran around the house, being chased by an angry Mina. "I'm sorry!" She yelled, whilst Mina hit her with a pillow around the head.

Ethan got dizzier and dizzier, he started remembering what was going on before he became a Pokemon.

He remembered a guy with red hair telling him that everything will be alright and then sending him to sleep. He seemed rather familiar.

Out of nowhere, Ethan blacked out, hitting his hed on one of the table's legs.

Hearing a thump, Amy stopped running, turning to face Mina, perplexed. "Did you hear that?"
"Yeah, it came from the kitchen..."
With those words, Amy immediately sprinted to the kitchen. "ETHAN!" She screeched. She knew something was wrong. The moment she saw him laying on the floor, she held him close to her, sobbing.

Ethan was haunted by the memories of his dark past, everything that happened before he became a Pokemon. His memories were coming back faster than they used to. He remembered that he had done some really bad things, worse than he could ever imagine.

He remembered a conversation he as a human. He couldn't remember who he was talking to but the voice was familiar to him. "There's more to it than you think." He remembered that person telling him.

A few seconds later, he felt like he was awake, but he wasn't. He stood up, still in the kitchen. He couldn't see any light. The house was really dark. He searched through the rooms but no one was there. This nightmare was his biggest fear. Losing his friends.

"Come on... wake up! Please!" Amy screamed, making him sit up against the wall. She sat by him, refusing to move until her awoke. "I won't ever leave your side... please be okay..." She murmured, brushing his hair to the side, her hand slightly shaking.

Mine watched the pair. She felt helpless. She missed Oddy. She sat next to Amy, holding her other hand. It was the only thing she could do to try and help Amy keep calm.

The house was empty. Ethan exited the house but there were no lights apart from the moon's. He couldn't find anyone, not even a single person. He started searching around the town. He went to everywhere they had been. The hospital, the library and then the police station. The only place remaining was the graveyard. He started running, faster than he ever did. When he found his mom's grave he sat down next to it, starting to tear up. Suddenly, he felt like someone was huging him. He opened his eyes and saw.... his mom.

She didn't talk. She just hugged him as tightly as she could. "I miss you. I feel like my world is falling apart. I keep hurting the people around me." He said, crying. The sun started appearing. The moon was still in the sky. It wasn't moving. Ethan and his mom ccontinued hugging eachother for a few minutes. Suddenly, Ethan's mom dissapeared. The dream was starting to end.

Just like that, it was all over. Ethan opened his eyes. He still hadn't realised what happened was just a dream.

Amy had her head rested against Ethan's lap. She was sobbing quietly to herself. She was extremely worried that Ethan wasn't going to wake up. "P-Please be... o-okay..." She kept murmuring. Mina was asleep.

When he saw Amy crying his heart broke. He immidiately hugged her, so fast that Oddish and Kadabra were shocked.

Amy immediately looked up, feeling Ethan's warmth. "Ethan!" She exclaimed, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "I was so worried! Thank the lord!" She yelled.
