"Ethan... It's too dangerous..." Amy murmured, tears in her eyes. She gave him a potion and pushed it over to him with her nose. "In this state you're in... There's no way I can let you do that." She grunted, her feet gripping the mud below them.

Ethan tried to heal himself with the potion, but he couldn't, so Oddish helped him. "I feel much better now, thanks!" Ethan said and hugged Oddish. "I can do it. I am the only one who can Mega Evolve, so I can do it." He added and hugged Amy.

Tears rolled down her cheeks. She looked up at Ethan and nodded slowly. "Just don't die on me, you idiot..." She murmured, heading off to the large hole in the ground.

Ethan hugged all of his friends together now and headed towards the guild. When he finally reached the guild, he saw Mina hanging at the top. "Hey, Mina! Come catch me if you can, you fool!" He shouted at her, Mega evolved and started running towards the hole.

Mina yowled and began to run after Ethan.

Amy was covering over the hole as fast as she could. "Looks about ready. We're good to go!" She said happily. Hopping and skipping around. "Alright everyone. Hide!" She ordered, jumping into a nearby Oran bush.

While running, Ethan tripped and fell. "No, that's not good, Ethan. Step up, Ethan, step up!" He said to himself, pushing himself. "Oh no, he fell! What do we do now?" Oddy asked his friends in horror, as it seemed like their plan was going to fail.

Amh grunted and leaped out of the bushes, grabbing Ethan in her jaws and running to the hole, Mina following. Amy jumped, throwing Ethan to the other side, but plummeting down into the hole with Mina.

Ethan tryed to catch her while falling, but failed. "Amy, no!" He said and jumped into the hole to help Amy. "I won't let you go through this alone!" Ethan said at Amy and used Shadow Ball at Mina.

"Ethan, no!" Amy hissed. "You're going to get killed too you know!" She growled, using thunderbolt on Mina. Mina shrieked and threw two shadow balls at Ethan and Amy, followed by a Hyper beam that knocked Amy back into the wall.

Ethan ran at Amy. "No, we won't die, at least you won't! I will save you no matter what." He said, used Protect and then used Thunder at Mina. When Oddy noticed a Thunder in the sky, he covered Oddish just so it wouldn't get hurt from Ethan's move.

"Ethan... Please... Stop..." Amy moaned, collapsing from the move. "I can't move..." She murmured, watching Mina use double team and sending an array of Aura Spheres at them.

Ethan used Discharge to stop the balls, but failed to stop all of them, so he used Shadow Ball to the remaining, stoping them. "I won't let any of them hit you, which means that I won't let any hit me, because that way I wouldn't be able to protect you." He said and looked at Amy.

(Btw Ethan's moveset is Discharge, Protect, Thunder and Shadow Ball :>)

Amy winced as the looked up at Ethan.

The bugs in the forest felt disturbed hearing Mina's shrieks, so they all came down the hole, piling on top of Mina to prevent her from attacking.

As Ethan was far more powerful when he is in his mega form than when he is normal, he grabbed Amy's hand, jumped out of the hole and then jumped back at the battlfield alone, leading Amy to safety. "Sorry Amy, I can't let these poor Pokemon get hurt while helping us." He said and pointed at the bug pokemon.

Amy watched as a Ledyba flew down and took off Mina's Mega Stone, handing it to Ethan, the Mega Lopunny slowly turning back into a Buneary again.

Ethan sighed and put Mina's Mega Stone into his bag. "Wow, that was easier than I thought." Ethan said and jumped out of the whole. Suddenly, Oddy jumped into the hole and hugged Mina. "I was worried about you, you know?" He said and started crying.

Mina was fainted in his arms. A portal opened up from all the negative power that Mina had. "That's the portal you and I came through..." Amy reached out her hand, a picture of her human parents in her mind.

Ethan stepped back, holding Oddish in his hand, not noticing that Oddish was the one that opened the portal. So much wind was coming out of the portal, that Oddy was blown some meters away. "What's happening?" Ethan shouting as he could barely see or hear anything.

Out of nowhere, Kadabra, who was sent to check how Mina was doing, appeared between Ethan and Amy. He could easily throw Amy through the portal, but he didn't.
