Duo's thought was interrupted with Jin's sentence when Miles spoke about the lantern. "Hang on," he said to it. He put it in Miles's hands, hoping to get some sort of reaction out of Miles.

Duo was shocked at this response. But, he knew Miles wouldn't do it. "You felt regret the first time you killed him. You got a chance, and you consider it again. Do you really want to go through that again?"

Duo threw a small, yellow star at Miles. "What happened to the 'lets go revive him' stuff? Were you going just going to revive Jin again to kill him?" Duo tried not to get mad, so he spoke with a somewhat monotone voice.

That's what I thought. Duo takes the lantern away from Miles, knowing he could pull another trick at any time. And had he done it again, it'd most likely succeed.

Duo saw Miles before Veronica. "I'm waiting for Fang to get ready for his dungeon, but we can do something small in the meantime."

But then he saw Veronica. "Where have you been? Why did you just wander off like that? You could've died, knowing the things we fought before...heck, nobody here would be able to beat most of the Bosses we've seen without each other...." He was concerned for Veronica's safety, so he tried using a scare tactic.

"He's going to be eager to start as soon as he's ready, which could be very soon. I don't want to engage in a long dungeon," Duo said. He was becoming impatient as well. He tighened his scarf and tilted his hat a little bit.

Duo suddenly heard Veronica at his leg, tugging at him. It had worked, but a little too well. He hated to see her crying at his leg. How could I not see that possibly happening? "It's fine, Veronica...just please don't do it again. It scared me, having you lost, and it made me think you would be the third..."

Duo thought of Rhyno.
