When you get an egg from a Christmas Gift, if you do not have room in your party, the egg disappears into the nether. And you can never get that egg back. :/
I think that it should be changed so if there is no room in your party, the gift says that it has an egg, and that when you get room in your party you should be able to pick the egg up, instead of just losing it.
Eggs from the Christmas Gifts are (relatively?) rare, so it is easy to just not think about the chance of getting an egg when you open just 1 or 2 gifts. It kind of ruins the nice spirit of Christmas to lose something special like that.

Then wait to hatch the egg?
You have until the end of Christmas to open gifts (probably even longer), so you have more than enough time to free at least 1 slot in your party.
