"Don't call me that!" Vanessa growled. But the fusion only laughed and responded with a Flamethrower attack just after dodging Shadow.

Erinessa waited for Shadow to attack as she prepared to use either Lucky Chant or Flamethrower. She noticed Savannah off to the side and blinked. She's here. I wonder if she'll ever talk..? Vanessa thought.

Confused, Erinessa lowered her guard a little. She quickly used Lucky Chant and glanced around the battlefield in hopes of spotting Shadow. A slight growl rose in her throat and she backed up a bit, ready to use Flamethrower if the other fusion were to suddenly surprise them. Just as Erinessa whirled around, it was too late to dodge. She was impacted by the Shadow Ball and knocked back. "Come on, Vanny! Just battle this one time!" Erin said, missing Zephyr's Flamethrower. "Fine..." Vanessa groaned as Erinessa balanced herself out. Then she proceeded to use Flamethrower on Shadow.

Narrowing her eyes, Erinessa used Shadow Ball on the ground to bring up dust clouds all around her. In a flash of Flamethrower, the dust clouds disappeared and Erinessa had as well. She crouched hidden in a tree, searching every other tree or bush for Shadow.
