I think that the area were you chose your items should have all 4 category's, this is a smaller suggestion but I feel it would be faster and that is the overall goal for the station!
(imagine the same as your item bag so you can easily find items)

It would be way more easier to gift items with the categories

the site my siggy was on died like a year ago so I don't have a siggy anymore ;-;

No support. I have a ton of items and even I could quickly and easily find things. They're sorted by categories. Having tabs would make it more confusing I think because having to switch from tab to tab if you're sending items from different item types.

No support from me. It's set up like the shop when you are selling things. I find it easier to have everything in one place, instead of the range of tabs, so it's actually quicker and easier for me how it is now than if you added tabs to it.

Maybe an "All" tab could be included for users who prefer a list of everything.
