Lightwhisper sighed and padded out of the medicine den to Smokestar's den. "May I have a word with you?" the she-cat asked politely. Smokestar nodded before Lightwhisper continued. "Our Clanmates appear to have stomped..all over the herb stock. And we have to collect as much as we can now. Not like we haven't before, but now it's getting very bad. I'd like you to do something about it." Smokestar nodded. "I'll get to it soon enough, but you go collect herbs. I'll call a Clan meeting," he mewed. Lightwhisper nodded and exited the leader's den.

Lunartail smiled. "Can you tell them a story, like how the elders once did? Before..." The she-cat's voice trailed off. The dark kit and the blue-grey kit bounded over to their father. "Mama! Is that Papa?" Ivykit asked excitedly. Lunartail purred with amusement and nodded.

The queen looked over at Spiritclaw. "The kits are doing fine, thank you for asking," she mewed to the other cat. Rocktumble staggered into the den. "Hello, Lunartail. I couldn't wait to see my littermate's beautiful kits again." He smiled at Ivykit and Nightkit. "Hello, young ones. I heard that Lunartail and Quietpool named you Ivykit and Nightkit. I'm Lunartail's littermate, Rocktumble."

Sandfur slowly padded into the woods, her footsteps light and soft. She scanned the woods, seeing a squirrel. She crept up on it, claws bared. She pounced, and it heard her, scrambling away a bit, but she got it by the tail. She pulled it to her, despite its squirming. She took the other paw and cut open the rodent, and it bled out. She picked it up by its tail, even though it was still squirming as it bled, carrying it back to camp.
