Corri had stopped to look at something then noticed both boys were
gone. "Uh-oh." She whimpered. She looked around and noted she was
lost. "Well crud." She whispered, then yelled for Erin and Grant
repeatedly. 'They wouldn't just leave me, right?' she thought.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"I should still look for her, it wouldn't be right if I just went
to school normally." Erin muttered and started looking for Corri.
He knew that he was going to be late, but he had to do something.
"ERIN! GRANT!" Corri called, wandering the area, she looked behind
trees. She sat down softly, her throat burning from yelling. She
looked at her watch, and moaned, knowing she would be late. "ERIN!
GRANT!" She yelled once more, then rubbed her throat.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
He heard a faint call and perked up. "Corri?" He called, running
towards the direction of the voice. "Corri where are you?" Erin
yelled, now sprinting to find her.
"I'm over here!" Corri called, now standing and looking around
frantically after hearing Erin's voice. Small bands of tears came
to her eyes as she called out. "Here! Over here!" She repeated over
and over.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"N-no, why do you ask?" Corri said, wiping away the tears speedily.
She looked away and whispered, "Thank you for finding me." She
sniffed softly, not wanting Erin to hear her or he would ask her
what was wrong.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"Oh, a nothin'." Corri said, trying to put on a smile, but it
looked more like a grimace. She looked at the two, trying to see
how they had found, considering she was in mid-woods.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"You didn't even bother to look, all you did was complain how I
didn't know where she was!" Erin barked back, his tail bristled up
and his ears pinned back.
