Tigerflame
"I can help you if you want," he offered. Usually he would just
say, 'I'll help : D' and run around, but he didn't converse much
with Rockfall, and he didn't want her to think he was a naive
weirdo.
Rockfall dipped her head. "That would be nice. Thank you," she
mewed politely. She sniffed around looking for herbs. It was the
middle of newleaf, so new herbs would be growing.
Nightpaw winced. This was her umpteenth time bumping into objects.
She sighed and thought 'If only I had both eyes to see, then I'd
actually be able to have depth perception...'
Tigerflame
"What kind are you looking for? Or are you just gathering them
all?" He sniffed a nearby clump of herbs. "Is this tansy?" he
asked, hoping madly he was correct.
Tigerflame
"Thanks," he replied. She's so quiet, he thought. He
wandered away a bit to look for marigold. He spotted some yellow in
the corner of his eye. He padded over, making sure not to lose
sight of Rockfall, and nipped the marigold at the base and held it
in his mouth. Lucky it's newleaf; there's a lot of herbs
blooming, he thought gratefully as he trotted back to Rockfall,
the tansy still under his chin. He looked at her and pointed with
his tail to camp, indicating he wanted to go back.
Rockfall nodded. "Let's go," she mewed. She turned and picked up
the herbs she collected - cobwebs and a bit of catmint - and padded
back toward camp.
Emberpaw scented a vole somewhere. He crept toward it. He was in
his best hunters' crouch and sprang toward it but missed. "Bad
luck," he whispered.
Nightpaw padded back towards the medicine den, intending to use the
stone walls as an ice pack, but ended up making the bruise worse by
misjudging the distance between her and the wall.
(I'm bored and no one's rping right now... T_T)
She pricked her ears as she heard something walk into the camp
entrance. Some good things about being blind in one eye was that
she had her ears and scent were more sensitive than most. She
turned around and started walking towards the camp entrance, every
so often wandering off from her course in a state of oblivious
happiness.
Emberpaw caught the scent of a blackbird. He followed the scent,
his pawsteps quiet. He found it. The apprentice approached it,
getting close to it. He lunged toward it as it began to fly away.
He caught it easily, but it was his best catch so far. Maybe
I'll have better luck soon, he thought.
