Sooo first of all go take a look at Gothbutters Forum bc her forum also talks about the Bug Contest.

So my idea was that you can get like Catercream (the event pokemon) from the Bug Contest but like it would not say Catercream but Caterpie so you can not know if it is an event pokemon or not, the Event pokemons will be as rare as getting a shiny / mega-powered pokemon from the bug contest. So there will also be a x2 if you let your event pokemon be rated.

I really don't know if this wil be a bad idea bc it can make event pokemons less 'valuable' idk ;s. but it wil maybe look like this if you get your pokemon rated

Just to let you know, the mega bonus is 1.5. It was originally 2, but was changed. Apart from that Its an ok suggestion. What about 1.25 bonus instead?

And yes 1.25 is a great number it would make sense !
