When you reach trainer level 15, there is something called the Royal Tunnel which is like a test on pokemon knowledge. And the prizes are better than medals, they are legendaries! (one per tunnel until you reach the endless path, at which point you have an opportunity to win a regi on every 50'th question - though that is random)
