Welcome to my first on-site fanfiction! If this gets enough demand, I'll make chapter 2! Note that this is appropriate for all audiences and is safe to read!

Are my eyes were open, or are they closed? I was confused. Where am I? I heard a familiar voice. "She's awake. Mom, you can come in." It was my younger sibling, Serena. I felt one of my pets brush against my arm. I heard footsteps; three sets of them. Then I remembered.

I was standing at the other side of the trainer. We were going to fight at the base of this volcano. I was going to save our region. I swiftly sent out Luna, the Latias. He sent out a Blaziken. "Luna! Mega Evolve and use Mist Ball!" The Latias was surrounded in a purple aura. She mega evolved into the swift, lavender Mega Latias. The Blaziken mega evolved too. The battle began with Luna's direct hit of Mist Ball.

The battle between Luna and Blaziken was over. That attack had Blaziken down in no time. I returned Luna. He sent out Mightyena, which I sent out Ava, my Altaria. Mightyena had the first move this time, a strong Ice Fang. Ava had only a bit of the attack hit, as she had dove out of the way. She used Draco Meteor on my command. But then the volcano began to erupt along with Draco Meteor. "Evacuate the area!" I cry, sending all my fire immune and flying Pokémon; Ava, Luna, Doom (My Houndoom; Male), and Ola (My Shiny Gyarados; Male). Ola used Surf to try and cool everything off. But it failed. He hissed and followed the rest of us, gliding along the ground. Luna let out a loud shriek to warn the people to evacuate. Then everything went black in the memory. But I felt myself being carried then... So what was different now?

I sighed as my mother sat down on the bed next to me. I didn't want her or Serena with me right now. I just wanted to sleep. "Go away and let me sleep," I muttered. My umbreon named Leli - who we rescued and turned out she could speak human, saying she came from a lab - rested her wing on my hand. "At least let me stay in here," she calmly said to me.
"Fine," I muttered. I heard footsteps and the shutting of the door. Nightfall, Serena and Mom must have left.

Other notes:
•Nightfall is an espeon
•The volcano is what blinded the main character
•Her name is Touko
•Leli actually came from the RP, Our Fall, which is still going on.

Title: Chapter 2

Oh how I hated being this way. I had my other senses, but I would never be a trainer in the same way. It was so unfair, to me especially. I gently felt Leli put her paws on each eye and I felt my eyelids close. "Night, Fukawa-san," she said half-jokingly. I knew the joke.

(Touko went to Anime week for 6 out of 7 days, and they played many anime including Dangan Ronpa. She got Leli to watch it after anime week ended)

The umbreon hopped onto the floor and curled up. I heard her movement easily. I began to drift into a dream, waiting for the next day.

I yawned as Leli woke me up. "C'mon Syo, we need to eat breakfast!" she complained. I rubbed my blind blue eyes and opened the door for Leli, then shut it after she got out. I changed out of my pajamas and brushed my long, dark brown hair. I stared blindly at the little tank where a small golden Magikarp swam around. I found the Magikarp food and fed it (it took a while) before walking downstairs. Leli had actually waited for me at the top of the steps which I was surprised about. She lead me down the steps to the kitchen.

Sorry it isn't as long as chapter 1! I promise I'll get longer chapters in soon!
