John used Thunder on the mutants that came out early in the morning to attack him and Bellatone.

(they should just be bosses. And would lugia be a boss even though my character is a not OP Lugia?)

The Legend Pokémon themselves (aren't gijinka) can be bosses. So Lugia, Articuno, etc. can be bosses)

Touko had finally woken up, so the group headed off to the 2nd floor boss's chamber.
"Touko and I will wait for you on floor 3," Irix said, and he and Touko teleported up to floor 3.

Akira practiced using her brother's sword. He had given one to her. Now the Gardevoir had to fight. (Oh and her appearance does change later on) She approached the Celebi. "That's it? Huh," she muttered before swinging the sword at it.
