Outside, Blackbird darted up a tree with her long tail trailing behind her and chased a squirrel through several branches. She managed to catch it after jumping off of quite a few trees and leaped down. Stormhiss stalked a vole and pounced onto it.

"You had a better catch. I'm not able to jump that high." He remarked and quickly buried his catch to collect later. Blackbird attempted to chase a rabbit but ended up crashing into a tree as it ran into the large roots below. She backed up, hissing and shook bits of bark from her fur.

Stormhiss looked up and nodded. He quickly killed a mouse before deciding that was enough for now. He looked up at the sky and sighed, staring at the stars. "It's late. Let's go." He yawned, beckoning Blackbird to follow. "Nah... I think I'm gonna hunt a little longer. I'm not tired." She shook her head. "You sure?" "Yes." "Alright..." He said and padded back to camp, put his kills away, and settled down in the warriors den.

Ripplecloud went to the warriors den and decided not to sleep next to Nightwalker tonight. Instead, she slept right next to where Stormhiss slept. "He's warm..." Ripplecloud thought. Nightwalker went to the warriors den and saw Ripplecloud and smiled. "Looks like things worked out for her after all." He said to himself. (btw, I hav to go to sleep now. see u in 8-9 hours or so)

Lunarstar padded into her den to sleep after she and Skyfall had placed their catches on the fresh-kill pile. She thought about Frostpool, who would normally be back before sunset. But now the sun was down and the moon was up. Lunarstar couldn't help but wonder, What if Frostpool never returns?

Yellowsting was at the entrance, dragging the corpse of Frostpool. "Go get Lunarstar." He told the apprentice. She rolled her eyes, but ran towards the den. "Lunarstar, excuse me for the intrusion. You should come outside." Wishpaw said. She would respect the leader only. Lunarstar was the only one worthy of her loyalty.

Lunarstar's green eyes glittered in the moonlight as she padded out of the den. She muttered a few words under her breath as she saw Frostpool's corpse on the ground. "She was so young," the leader mewed. She padded over to the dead medicine cat. "You didn't deserve this Frostpool..."

Stormhiss slowly woke up and nearly yelled in surprise at Ripplecloud being right next to him. Okay... this is... sudden. He thought and slowly made his way out of the den and to the Highrock.

Blackbird, who wanted to do some extra hunting, returned with a squirrel, a mouse, and a thrush, and dropped her catches when she spotted the corpse. Quickly, she picked them up, darted to the pile and put them away, and ran back to gather under the Highrock.

Ripplecloud woke up to Stormhiss's yell. She looked up and saw everybody else blathering at the highrock. She padded over and sat next to Nightwalker. "So how did things go?" He asked. "Shut up."
