Based off of the Starter Squad series from YouTube
WARNING: Do NOT read this, as this mentions death (Not all, uh... Disgusting like, but ya. Don't read if you're not comfortable with this fact.)

Title: Episode 1
3 Starters-1 Partner
A flashback before evolution
A trainer looks around the lab a bit silently. In front, were 3 Pokemon... On the left, a Chikorita grinning, second was a Cyndaquil who flailed it's arms, finally a Totodile. After the trainer scanned the table they started shouting.
"Hey you! Pick me! I'm stronger than these 2 losers," the Cyndaquil spoke, it's back burst into flames.
"Lies, she can only use tackle. Nothing more," a Chikorita walked up, then used pound on the Cyndaquil, "Choose me! I'm useful!"
The Totodile argued next, "Nope! Chikorita can learn nothing more than Flash and Cut from HMs! I'm useful when going through the ocean waters! I can even smash rocks." It grinned a bit puffing out his chest, "Plus, the first gym will destroy Chikorita."
"HEY! Not true! I can... Uh..."
"Ya! You got nothin'," the Totodile smirked before being pushed by the Cyndaquil. The Flaming Mouse the pointed at them both.
"They're BOTH useless. I can destroy that Falkner gym easily! Besides, what's the Croc gonna do? Try to bit'em to bits?" Immediately, they both started fighting and glaring at each other. The Chikorita out of it grins, "Ignore them and take-"
The trainer nodded taking the Totodile mid-fight.
"HA! I win SUCKERS! See ya'll around- NEVER!" The Totodile taunted.
Both surprised after they left the Cyndaquil looked at the Chikorita with a sharp glare. Then at the door where they left. "Even if he can learn ice moves. At an EARLY STAGE, he's still not gonna live. You'd hafta be lucky to even find a Ice TM," the Cyndaquil jumped off the table, "It'd make sense that human CHOSE ME cause I'm much more useful."
"No! I- Ya... You've got a point," the Chikorita sighed walking out.
Several days later....
A Pidgeotto flew in front of the Totodile, "Prepare to face Water Gun!" The Totodile charged his attack unleashing it last minute. Pidgeotto barely hit glared at it's enemy. Later attacking Totodile with Gust sending him flying out of the ring.

Title: Episode 2
Still in their background
"So... Where exactly are we heading?" The Chikorita trailed behind the Cyndaquil. He kept running after his partner, careful not to trip over a rock.
"To train of course! I need to evolve!" Cyndaquil's back flames bursted making Chikorita flinch. Then he growled trying to ignore the fact that we was nearly toasted to death, "And WHY exactly?"
"You ask a lot of questions," the Cyndaquil sighed before explaining, "To blow things up of course!!"
"WHAT!? WHY IN THE WORLD OF ARCEUS WOULD YOU BLOW UP A TOWN!?"
"...Isn't that in Typholsion's name?" She pointed a claw as she spoke.
Gritting his teeth with a dark glimpse in his eye, the Chikorita sighed. "I'll let that dumb fact slide."
"HEY! It's not dumb- it's LOGI-" Mid-scentence a human walked up and grinned with a smirk.
"HUMAN! Human, human human...." "Heh! Seems I don't have to visit that dumb lab.
Both Pokemon stared at the strange boy confused then at each other. Changing glances Cyndaquil glared than attacked with tackle. The boy then glared down at them. Reaching into his pocket he found a PokeBall which was stolen and then tossed it on to the Chikorita out of surprise.
"This is too small space! HELP! TOO SMALL!" The PokeBall shoke as the Chikorita was captured, by the time the Cyndaquil was gone.
"CYNDAQUIL! Why you little-"
"A Chikorita. Hmmm.... I think I'll call you, Aibi'zun!*"
I'm not a girl!
The human placed the PokeBall in his pocket. Turning around then leaving, "Where did that Cyndaquil go?"
At Cyndaquil's place....
"I ran. I'm safe. Annoying humans, who can even stand hearing THAT!" She shook her head then looked around. "Huh? I hear Zubat." She uses her back flames to produce light in the area. Then screams at the sound of Zubat attacking.
"ARCEUS!! HELP ME!"
*Aibi'zun is based off of 'Aibīpoizun' which is really 'Ivy Poison' in English
