Xeru trotted to catch up to the Zoroark.
"Yeah. I'm coming," he replied, though he was moving a little slower than Zorxa.
"It'll be easier to keep up once I've warmed up a bit," he said, seeming to be the kind to not let much actually bother him.

Zorxa nodded, and looked down at the valley. He sighed "We have a long way to go.. And there's no doubt that it will be hard... Are you willing to still go?"

"I get the feeling that if I travel with you, I will get to see how things really are, which is my current job. So, of course! Did you seriously think that just because it's hard that I'd give up before getting started?"

Xeru looked down the valley and smiled.
"You have to admit, Groudon did a good job with this landscape centuries ago."

Xeru's reply to that was to go ahead and start leading the way down to the valley.
"I'd estimate we'll be there before nightfall, but barely," he said with a smile.

Zorxa nodded, and followed Xeru "Then we'd better start, or there's no telling what could happen"

"Yeah, especially with how things have changed since the last time I was here. So, how bad are things really? Like really really, in this world." he asked.

"Pretty bad... It's gotten hard to find decent food"

"Hm... That's pretty bad, then. Since a food shortage also means that there's more violence, less trust, and more death," Xeru replied, clearly running different thoughts through his head about this.

Zorxa nodded, and climbed down the mountain silently

((Sorry, I kind of went into casually clicking while I was playing my game instead of actually paying attention to the site >.<))

After a few hours of silence, the gray snow started to fall heavier and Xeru looked around some.
"I need to find some shelter before the cold does more than just hinder my speed," he said, trying to find a cave or rock or something that might provide some shelter.

"Over there looks promising," Xeru said pointing for a moment before he took off in an unsteady jog to check. Sure enough it was a small cave made out of some rocks that layered over each other from the shifts in the ground.

He entered it and sat down with his back against the back of the cave, able to clearly see outside of the mouth because there was enough room for maybe four people, max, in this cave.

"Cuts down the wind and keeps the snow off," he said as he took off the hoodie and shook it off to knock off the water, ice, and snow. With the hoodie off, the markings on his back and arms were visible for a moment , but he covered them back up with the hoodie as quickly as he could.

((The markings:
A dark blue stripe with 7 small blocks on both sides of the stripe in the colors of the rainbow, but dulled. It starts from his shoulder blades and continues to his tailbone.

The markings on his arms look like they were tattooed to the same color as his hair. It's a cuff around his wrist with two lines [one on the outside, one on the inside] going up his forearm then another cuff around his elbows and then just one line that goes on the outside up to his shoulder.))

Zorxa followed, and sat by Xeru. He looked at the human, and sighed "So, how has your life been?"

"Long, boring, and by the looks of it, not overly successful," Xeru replied, giving a reply that seemed to have been predetermined if he ever got asked this question.

"About a week, I would guess. But it's taken its toll on me, and the only reason I'm still able to function was because that Houndoom was warm enough to keep me from freezing too much," he replied with a sigh, then looked at Zorxa.

"How about you for your life?"

"I... I'm sorry about that," the human replied, looking down at the ground.

Zorxa shook his head "Don't be.... I'm sure the world will be back to normal if we do something"
