Xeru lightly ran his hand through Zorxa's fur as he watched him
sleep, then fell back and looked back at the sky. His mind was
racing about what he had left behind when he was changed from his
natural form to this one. After all, the legends who hadn't helped
in this outcome had no clue that humans were no longer
plentiful.
Then a thought crossed Xeru's mind. What about the others who came
as well? Would they run into the same issues, like what had
happened to him with the Houndoom, or would they be in different
situations that were better or worse?
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, then just relaxed and
stayed still, not falling asleep, but at the same time not really
moving, just waiting. Waiting much like he did in the past, just in
a different form.
Xeru laughed at that and nodded.
"I guess I am," he agreed, then slowed his stride and looked up at
the night sky.
"Something doesn't feel right," he muttered, then just shrugged it
off and picked his pace back up.
Xeru either didn't seem to actually see the change, or he just
didn't care one way or another as he didn't change anything about
how he held himself or how he moved.
