I thought it'd be fun...

I thought it'd make me have a little more interest in the Pokemon games I don't really play, anymore...

I have made a grave mistake. ;~:

Last week I started my first Nuzlocke run on my Emerald with only three rules: The basic two, and that my I.D decided what starter I would get. Mine ends with five, so I started with Torchic. Everything was going good, I had a great team going. Then I hit my first death. My Gulpin, Orson, fainted against Brendan's Marshtomp (since I forgot that Poison is weak against Ground) on Route 110. Okay. I can recover...Got an Oddish named Orchid to take his place.

Everything was going good again, until I got to Norman's gym. Slaking was a piece of cake until it used Facade...And fainted my Combusken, Rowtag. Orchid poisoned that darn Slaking, and before it could faint it hit her with another Facade.

Oh, sweet Arceus why did I do this?? These things are just colorful images for a game, why do I feel so terrible?! I almost don't want to continue the game.

Is anyone else braving through this heartbreaking challenge?

*crawls away to mourn my poor fallen Pokemon*

try chesslocke (you can only catch 16 pokemon through the entire game, you have to assign them roles and each role has certain rules to follow. if your starter(king) dies, game over)

oh yeah lol i remember my black nuzlock, i lost my starter on it but i found a shiny.

I do so many Nuzlockes-

Currently I'm doing a Soul Link based Wedlocke in Heart Gold, as well as a Soul Link in Black. So far, no pairs died in HG, but in Black, 2-3 pairs are gone.
My starter is OP as heck because I was lucky to get a Volcarona.
I have a Vibrava!!
