Chapter One

Angela and Rose were at Rose’s house, having a Video Gamer Girls, or VGG sleepover, which basically means Angela brought her DS over so they could play Animal Crossing, Tomodachi Life, and who knows what else together. “Angela, can we put on TV? No offense, but Animal Crossing gets a little boring after 3 hours of non-stop gameplay.” Rose asked. “Fine with me. What do you want to watch?” Angela answered as Rose started navigating the XBOX menu. She selected ‘Kids’, then ‘Gravity Falls’. “First season, first episode, An?” “Get the popcorn started.” Rose scrolled down to ‘Tourist Trapped’ and then rose up to grab and start the microwave popcorn Angela had smuggled from her house. “Angela, don’t start it yet!” Rose shouted after she had put the finished popcorn in a bowl. “I haven’t. I’m partying in Club LOL in Rose Town.” Angela shouted back. “Good. I thought I heard the theme song.” “You did. Remember, you made it your town tune!” “Oh yeah.” Rose then plopped down on her blanket and started Tourist Trapped. “Rose?” Angela asked after the theme song finished. “Yes?” Rose had seen this episode many times before, so she had been making Simon’s catchphrase ‘sweaterz’ in Animal Crossing. “Is the TV supposed to start glowing yellow after the theme song?” “No. Of course not!” “Grab the popcorn and Doritos!” “OK.” Then, the TV started flashing blue, yellow, and white, and sucked the girls, Doritos, and the popcorn in.
