Hello, my internet name is Nitro Indigo, and I needed a place to put all of my random ideas. As the title says, I don't want anyone else posting in this thread, but I don't mind PMs about stuff you see in here.

(Are there any ways to keep track of a thread on this site other than subscribing?)

One of the first things you should know about me is that I REALLY like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Explorers of Time was the game of my childhood. As I result, I'm VERY excited about Super Mystery Dungeon, to the point that I'm worrying that I'll disappoint myself.

Anyhow, speculation time!

WISHLIST
- Bring back genders.
I KNEW IT! In a later post, I analyse if genders will be returning. Halfway through typing it, I realized that since every Pokémon will be in PSMD, this means that genders WILL return, since there are Pokémon that evolve based on gender (that weren't in Gates and were all introduced in Gen 4), and Meowstic's entire gimmick is more-than-aesthetic gender differences.
- Pokémon that actually fit the dungeons.
I KNEW IT! This was a fancier way of saying "more than 144 Pokémon". Every Pokémon is in this game!
- More starters.
I KNEW IT! There are 20 starters.
- Call backs to previous games.
I KNEW IT! Very late, but the PMD1 map was in the second trailer.
- Explain what happened to the humans!
- (Added 1/Jun/2015) Zoom out the screen in dungeons. (The English direct said "game footage not final")
I KNEW IT! There are more tiles on the screen than GTI, at least.

PREDICTIONS
- The starters will include, but not be limited to: Pikachu, Eevee, Riolu, Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie.
- Alternatively, the starters will all have megas: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Abra, Mareep, Houndour, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Ralts, Aron, Elecrike, Swbalu, Buneary and Riolu.

JOSSED! The starters will be all of the main series starters, Pikachu and Riolu. Though technically, the first one was correct minus Eevee.
- The title is a placeholder.
JOSSED! We have boxart now.
- The plot will involve Zygarde.

"I knew it" and "jossed" are both TV Tropes terms related to speculation. The former refers to when speculation turns out to be true, and the latter refers to when it doesn't.

Title: The ranting post

A YouTube video
Show hidden content
I'm a fan of a YouTuber called TheMysteriousMrEnter, but I really don't like his Atlantis Squarepantis (a SpongeBob episode) review. Like, at all.

A common complaint about Mr. Enter is that he compares stuff to MLP too often. I don't mind it because usually it's a joke, but not this time where he's using an MLP comparison as an argument. He keeps complaining about people not liking the songs in the Friendship is Magic episode Magical Mystery Cure purely because he doesn't like the songs in this episode. The way he keeps wording it makes it seem like he's trying to say "you can't hate Magical Mystery Cure because this exists" (he even starts the review with "If anyone complains to me about the songs in Magical Mystery Cure one more time...", in his Face Freeze review he mentions this episode being on his hitlist and captions it with "AKA The reason I laugh whenever someone complains about the songs in Magical Mystery Cure", and just look at the cliffhanger at the end of his Tentacolino review... O_O). He also brings up the fact that this episode had four writers at the end while MMC only had one... that's not even an attempt at an argument.

The second problem I have with this review is that he doesn't back up his other arguments. At one point, he claims they're "ripping off Willy Wonka", then moves on and doesn't bring that up for the rest of the review until right at the end.

The third problem is that he's basically saying the same thing over and over ("the songs are bad") for seventeen minutes.

And the final reason? He's WAY too angry. After all of the disturbing SpongeBob episodes he's reviewed, it seems like he's trying too hard to hate a musical episode because everyone else does. Granted, his reaction to this episode is nothing compared to his later review of Over Two Rainbows, and this wasn't even the angriest he'd been at the time, but seriously. In the aforementioned Tentacolino cliffhanger, the Crazy Old Man says he's "held [it] off from the very beginning".

Gosh, Mr. Enter has changed over the years.

OTHER MR. ENTER VIDEOS I DON'T LIKE:
Over Two Rainbows
Character: Says something.
Mr. Enter: Yells angrily for way too long.

Twilight's Kingdom
"ZOMG! BEST EPISODE EVER!"
Oh, he must be joking.
"Do we even need a scoring system?"
...Or not.

Any top [number] video where he says something along the lines of "you all saw it coming".
Chances are, I've never heard of whatever he's talking about.

Misanthropy
Show hidden content

So, a few years ago, someone on Chicken Smoothie had an EXTREMELY misanthropic signature, full of content that essentially boiled down to "humans do nothing but kill animals". One thing that I specifically remember is "Murderers are animal lovers fighting back". Unsurprisingly, people were offended... so then the person put in a paragraph saying that anyone who complained about it on Things That Annoy You, the site's resident venting thread, would be foed. Maybe, just MAYBE, they complained because you called LITERALLY EVERYONE ON THE SITE A HEARTLESS MONSTER!
I honestly considered reporting them, because imposing your beliefs on others is against the rules on CS, but I never did. I also considered PMing them something like "It's funny that you'd hate humans so much, seeing as you ARE ONE!" or that stamp that says "Your fanatical animal-loving won't turn me into a HUMAN-HATING MORON!", but I knew it would cause trouble. (Not to mention that the latter could cause seizures.)
They've since removed the misanthropic text, but it honestly disgusts me that someone ever had those views. And disgust is not a word I use very often.

EDIT: ...and the more and more I think about it, the worse it gets. Did that person not know how INSENSITIVE they were being? So 9/11 was done by concerned animal lovers? 7/7? Any other terrorist attacks in the world? Any single-person murders? Just... WHY?! How do people get those ideas?
If you call bronies homophobic slurs, bronies will be offended. If you make a comment bashing religion on a YouTube video that has nothing to do with religion, religious people will be offended. If you call humans evil monsters that do nothing but kill animals for no reason whatsoever, HUMANS WILL BE OFFENED!
I am so glad that person has removed the block of text. I sincerely hope they've seen the error of their ways. Of course, if any of you reading this know who I'm talking about, DO NOT ATTACK THIS PERSON DIRECTLY. One time a YouTuber attacked a writer of a cartoon episode that enraged him, causing many people to attack that writer on Twitter. This is a very serious issue.

PokéFarm Q
Show hidden content
Time for another rant...
I quit PokéFarm Q because of its RIDICULOUS policies on spoilers. Basically, if you wanted to say ANYTHING about an unreleased Pokémon game, you had to post on a specific thread and use spoiler boxes TWICE or get banned. And you'd also get banned for posting fanart of something from an unreleased game. I dread to think of what the PMD community is going through right now on that site. Apparently this was because back in Gen 5 Bulbapedia and Serebii got in legal troubles, but they were posting images. Simply talking about an unreleased game won't get anyone sued.
(I also left because they got way too tight on copyright and basically forced everyone to credit everything they used. People started crediting quotes for some reason.)

PS:
Quote from WikipediaA spoiler is an element of a disseminated summary or description of any piece of fiction that reveals any plot elements which threaten to give away important details concerning the turn of events of a dramatic episode.

They wouldn't release important plot details in a prerelease, would they?

(There's nothing personal in here, don't worry.)

Title: PSMD analysis

These analyses are all in spoiler boxes for the sake of organization.

Will genders return?
Show hidden content
In Gates to Infinity, genders were removed from gameplay, and the translations removed the ability to give your player and partner story genders. Many people saw this as a step back, and somewhat of a slap in the face since the anime trailer featured a female Pikachu. Will genders return for the Gen 6 game?

In this screenshot, there are two Pokémon with gender differences that are both male: Pikachu and Hippopotas. While alone this won't tell us much, in Rumble World, another game where Pokémon don't have genders, Hippopotas and Meowstic still have gender differences.
Wait... Meowstic! Since every Pokémon will be in this game, and Meowstic has different movesets depending on its gender, genders are definitely going to return! No to mention the Pokémon that evolve by gender, which is why genders were added to Explorers in the first place!

The story
Show hidden content

This is really the only indicative of the plot we have right now: Pokémon being turned into stone. Let's hope that this has a more complex plot than a handheld Zelda game... In the anime, anyone whose life force was absorbed by Yveltal was turned into stone. This one needs more screenshots...

This was what my PSMD team plan was before it was revealed to have the personality test in it. While making it, I discovered how to add layer effects on Pixlr.

These are my original teams in various PMD games, recoloured as eachother. The partners are first, the protags are second.
From left to right: Piplub and Hannah of Team Palepals (Explorers of Time), Squirty and Hannah of Team [name forgotten] (Blue Rescue Team), Bulby and Hannah of Team [name forgotten] (Explorers of Sky, no longer owned) and Serpentine and Hannah of The Time Gear.

Now that I've moved the rant that was once here to a different post, what do I do with this one?

Ranting all of the time isn't healthy.

I've recently watched Inside Out, and I think I've found a new favourite movie. I just loved all of the creative ideas it had.

EDIT: Wait, you can only have one page in a diary? That's kind of stupid...
