If I wanted to escape without you, I could already be far away from this place! Stand back! Gardevoir then used Focus Blast.
I ask again: should I free the Lairon, or not? Diancie asked.

I already told you; my name is Diancie! Diancie began to charge a red sphere of energy between her hands. Lairon, please stand back as well.
Ferrugo nodded, and jumped down into her hole.

Servine, listen to me! I said to stand back!! Gardevoir said, quite irritated.

Diancie put the sphere to her side, and then quickly pushed it forward, sending a shock wave of red energy around it as it exploded into a white beam of light, completely obliterating the bars trapping Ferrugo. She then crackled with red electricity as she needed to recharge energy.
Following Diancie's lead, Gardevoir flung the orange sphere of light at Servine's cell, freeing her as it exploded into a huge blast of energy.

Gardevoir facepalmed. I did tell you to stand back...
Ferrugo crawled out of her hole when the smoke from the two explosions had cleared. "Thank you so much!" she said excitedly.

(From this point onward, Diancie's moveset will be based loosely on that of Carbink, in addition to the moves she has been confirmed to learn.)

Diancie began to glow red, as did one of the opposing Aggron. The red glows quickly formed two bolts of energy, Diancie's far smaller than Aggron's, which shot from each of them to the other. Meeting in the middle, they formed a large, red sphere. The sphere formed two more bolts of energy, this time perfectly equal in size, and returned to Diancie and the Aggron. "That would be Power Swap, in case you're wondering. You'll find that my Attack is way higher, and yours way lower."
Gardevoir used Focus Blast on Steel.

Gardevoir Teleported behind Steel, and again used Focus Blast. As he was only teleporting himself, the process was far quicker.

Not expecting such agility, Gardevoir failed to avoid the attack, and the move was a critical hit. Gardevoir staggered back, having trouble standing up.
(Diancie isn't going to attack until we have agreed on a finalized temporary move list for her, as the moves that have already been revealed for her would all be terrible choices against Aggron.)

Just before the attack landed, Diancie used Power Split on Steel, slightly weakening his attack and increasing her own ability to do damage.
Even so, Gardevoir was knocked back when Steel hit him with the move, and crashed into a wall, knocking him out.
Diancie counterattacked with a Focus Blast, aimed straight at Steel.
Ferrugo used Superpower on another of the Aggron.

Diancie yelped as the doubly super-effective move struck her. She was flung backwards, and barely hung on even with her astronomical Defense stat. "Reflect and Light Screen!!" She quickly erected a barrier of blue light, and another barrier in front of it made of gold light. These barriers expanded quickly, and in a flash of light, adjusted themselves to form three spheres - one around Ferrugo, one around Servine, and one around Diancie - each.
