Six Lairon appeared after the Aron, sealing the fate of the three
escapees.
"This is why I love knowing a move that my species is weak to,"
Ferrugo said quietly before using Superpower on all of the Lairon.
Unfortunately, each hit decreased in strength, and not only did all
of the enemies survive - be it due to Sturdy or simply the attack
being too weak - but Ferrugo's defense was now as low as it could
possibly go. "This is why I hate not having any useful moves that
don't have drawbacks." Is that one with us? Gardevoir asked confusedly, pointing to
Ferrugo.
"--ianc--" the Unown continued, not realizing how much time had
passed while they were asleep. TAKE THIS!! Gardevoir said, using a Shadow Ball on three
Unown at once. You guys are so small and easy to target...
"P-prisoner...? Prisoner? Who have you captured?" Unown asked. Get off of me!! Gardevoir demanded of the Lairon that were
pinning him down. Get off of me, or I'll use Focus Blast to make
you!! He suddenly began to shine a bright white.
"You again!!" Unown noticed. "All of you, take him over to the
crystal!"
Get... off... NOW!! Gardevoir commanded before attempting to
use Teleport. He didn't care that he'd be taking his captors with
him; he had to get away from that crystal... that horrible crystal
that was already starting to take his energy... He began to shine
incredibly brightly.
Gardevoir toughed it out. Continuing to shine brightly, he let out
a huge pulse of light, enveloping all of the Unown, Lairon, and
Aron. Flashes of every color of light burst outwards... but it was
too late. One of the Lairon had managed to make him lightly touch
the crystal, and the entire teleportation process ceased. Gardevoir
would have gone pale, had he not already been the lightest color
possible. HELP!! SOMEBODY HE- He let out a final telepathic
plea to anyone nearby, and immediately blacked out.
HELP!! SOMEBODY HE-
HELP!! SOMEBODY HE-
The reverberating call reached the Rock-type Pokémon. What are
those Unown doing now? she wondered. Not wanting any others to
be imprisoned in the crystal like she was, she quickly flew back
towards the chamber of the Unown. Her shattered reflection
glimmered along the walls of reflective diamond, marred by shards
of red.
The Rock-type Pokémon stopped moving for a moment. The two crystals
hanging from the back of her head rose upwards, forming a straight
horizontal line as they began to shine a bright pink. She used them
to scan the area for the calling Pokémon's mind, and detected that
he or she was still in motion, probably being carried to one of the
Unown's cells. She waited to follow, knowing that he or she would
be easier to locate when he or she was no longer being carried; as
the Rock-type had to stop moving and focus hard every time she
wanted to sense the Pokémon, it would be easier to simply wait
until he or she was not moving.
In the blackness that was all Gardevoir could see, he thought he
heard a voice. --n- w---y...
N wy? Gardevoir knew that he couldn't be hearing it properly... D--t w--r-...
Dt wr also didn't sound right, but Gardevoir assumed that it was
the same message being heard more clearly. Do-t wo-ry... Don't worry...
That made more sense. Who are you? Gardevoir asked. Wonde--ul! You got -he message! Y-u will l--rn my id-ntity in
due time, bu- f-r now,
re--in calm. I'm going t- rescue you, o- at lea-t try to, the
voice explained. Al-ight; I have to break --e connection now, a-
I can't use my lim-t-d psyc-ic abilities while I'm movi-g.
Sor--!
The Rock-type Pokémon flew as quickly as she could to the location
at which the Pokémon was located. Bending the diamond walls to her
will in order to reach her destination more quickly, she reached
her destination in around twelve minutes. Goodness, these
caverns are large, she thought. She did not bend the final
wall, lest the Aron and Lairon attack her; instead, she first bent
the floor around them, encasing their limbs in the very slabs of
diamond on which they had been standing moments ago.
The Rock-type encased them in diamonds, too; she created more as
she needed it, and spread it as though it was a liquid, filling the
entire surrounding area - including the reinforcements - except for
a small path through which she could reach Gardevoir. She flew
through it. As Gardevoir was still unconscious, she spoke
telepathically. Are you the one who called for help? she
asked.
