Thanks to the presence of the crystal, unlike any night before, the
Rock-type Pokémon's eyes slowly began to open. The shining, diamond
caverns reacted to this, and a rainbow light began to radiate from
the chamber in which she had awoken. The jewels adorning the
unknown Rock-type began to shine pink, as did the crystal that lay
in the Unown's room.
A powerful pulse of energy immediately knocked Steel backwards, and
caused a number of the stones around the entrance of the Unown's
chamber to crumble.
Another Aggron stepped up to Steel. "Please refrain from
interrupting our ritual," the Unowns said through him.
The Unown arranged themselves into a pattern resembling a flower,
with the crystal in the center of the pattern. A huge pillar of
light stretched both upwards and downwards from the crystal,
shining through the top of the caverns and piercing the sky while
reaching downwards and touching the mysterious Rock-type Pokémon.
The Rock-type Pokémon suddenly began to shine red rather than pink
as her energy was slowly taken from her. The diamondlike cave
suddenly became completely reflective rather than colorful or
white, like a shattered mirror. The Unown all began to glow a
reddish color as well, as they absorbed the mysterious, jeweled
Pokémon's life force.
(Servine and Excadrill both still need to respond. :p)
Ferrugo rolled her eyes. "Did you even hear me speaking?"
"Nope. I have a weird space in my memory from recently, though. Did
I meet you at some point from now to approximately 3.42 weeks ago?"
Swirlix inquired.
The Rock-type Pokémon let out a cry that sounded both eerie and
musical at the same time. A few shards of diamond turned red,
matching the crystals on her body.
"I know my way out of these caverns. I've lived here my whole life,
after all. However, I can't guarantee that we'll make it past the
guards. If we get caught... Well, I'll be in as much trouble as
you, so I'm obviously going to try to avoid having either of us
seen," Ferrugo said.
Excuse me, Gardevoir said before Swirlix could reply.
Have you seen a Servine around here?
That's too bad... Do you think you'd be able to help us find
her? If not, I understand completely, but I would really appreciate
it! Gardevoir said.
"Are you ready to go?" Ferrugo asked.
The diamonds separating Diancie from the Unown suddenly shattered,
and Diancie seemed to gain more power. The Unown seemed distressed
at this. "What are you doing?" they asked.
"N-no!" the Unown shouted.
Telepathically, the Rock-type Pokémon let out a message to all of
the Unown. You just tried to steal the energy of the one Pokémon
that has the most control over diamonds... with a diamond.
Honestly, I'm not impressed.
"A-attack D-d--" The Unown no longer had enough energy to
speak.
The Rock-type Pokémon had reversed the energy flow of the crystal,
bringing the Unown's energy to herself rather than the opposite.
If you come close enough to me, the crystal will steal your
energy as well, she warned.
