"Zorua happened!" he snapped. "That ungrateful little monster just
embarrassed me in front of the Legendary Pokémon of Order, and then
ran off crying because I was somehow just being mean to her. On
what PLANET does that make ANY LOGICAL SENSE?!"
"I believe that you would think differently if you were present
when it occurred," Zygarde told Servine. "She was being
rather rude, stubborn, and seemingly unintelligent. She also
appeared to be making a conscious effort to embarrass her brother,
as he pointed out."
"I already told you that I lose control of myself on certai- wait;
I did?" Zoroark asked. "SORRY! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do
it; I swear!" He paused. "Why was one of you glowing pink?"
Gardevoir noticed that Servine had left a while ago, and teleported
back to the cave under the assumption that she had returned without
his noticing. Indeed, she had.
"What do you mean by that?" Gardevoir asked nervously.
"Hi! Apparently, I attacked you. In that case, were you the one who
glowed pink? If so, why? I vaguely remember something or someone
glowing pink," Zoroark explained.
"Yes, that was me. I was Mega Evolving," Gardevoir answered. He and
his Gardevoirite both glowed pink, and he transformed into Mega
Gardevoir. "See?"
"Is this the 'Day of Forgetfullness' or something? Servine,
Gardevoir has shown you Mega Evolution before. It's not like he hid
behind a tree when he did it against Zoroark, right? I wasn't
there, but I don't think he did. You're not even the first one to
have forgotten something important today, with Zorua completely
forgetting everything Zoroark said, twice," Zygarde said.
Zoroark and Gardevoir both laughed a bit at this.
Oh... Wait... Now that I think about it, I didn't Mega
Evolve... The pink glow must have been my Moonblast attack.
Servine, sorry for startling you! Gardevoir apologized.
Zygarde, I'm the one who was celebrating the Day of
Forgetfulness.
"Servine, I have been telling her for almost a year. I have
told her this almost every day in that time. She has not
forgotten before. No, I still don't understand how being 'just a
child' makes it excusable to forget something that you've been told
almost every day for almost a year. I wasn't that unintelligent
when I was a child, and I honestly doubt that she's really
forgetting. It's far more likely that she is trying to embarrass
me," Zoroark explained.
