Aron led Gardevoir through the tunnels, and entered the Unown
Chamber. They went up to the Unown, and talked to them, then turned
to Gardevoir "The Unown say you are granted access to the tunnels"
Unown? Gardevoir thought. This is already different from
what I expected! He then slowly walked through the tunnels,
keeping an eye out for any markings on the walls. He used Flash to
make it easier to see.
Gardevoir paid them no mind, and suddenly felt another pulse of
psychic energy. The walls began to glow white in the exact place
that he felt it, though they faded back to normal when the energy
ceased. He decided he would try to mimic the pulses of psychic
energy to make the walls light up again, in case there was a secret
concealed beyond the visible, crumbling stone.
(Just so you know, the revelation of the secret images will anger
the Unown, if you want the Aron to react to that. ^^)
Gardevoir focused his psychic energy as much as he could, to the
point where even his eyes were shining a bright white. All of the
walls began to shine a brilliant, blinding white, and a pulse of
color spread out from Gardevoir. The walls of the cavern now looked
like beautiful, stained glass images that depicted Arceus' creation
of the world, and, throughout all of the caverns combined, the
lives of every Legendary Pokémon in existence. What's more,
Gardevoir actually felt as though he experienced what they were
when he viewed the enchanted walls, feeling immense joy when he saw
Mesprit's birth, great pain when he viewed the battle between
Kyogre and Groudon, horrible fear when he saw Raikou, Entei and
Suicune trapped in the fire of the burned tower... He could
understand what all of these Pokémon were feeling, yet after what
felt like only a fraction of a second, his psychic energy faltered
and the walls immediately returned to normal. A horde of angry
Unown were glaring at Gardevoir. "Was I not supposed to see that?"
he guessed.
"I mean that it was foolish to expect this to contain me. I'm a
Gardevoir," he said with a wink, "and I know Teleport." In a
blinding flash of light, the Embrace Pokémon teleported back to
Zygarde.
"How did it go?" the Order Pokémon asked.
"I saw some stuff I wasn't supposed to see, I got put in a cell,
and I got to be awesome and escape anyway. All in all, quite well!"
he replied cheerfully.
"They never told me I wasn't supposed to look at it until after the
fact! How is that worth imprisoning me or erasing me from
existence? If anything, they should actually warn you not to
concentrate your psychic energy as much as you possibly can on the
walls while Mega Evolved!" Gardevoir complained.
