Hi, I'm Max Darke, and I finally decided to start a journal. I refuse to call it a diary! >_>

Well, getting back on topic, let me first tell you about myself.


I'm just your local Emera Gym Leader, Pokemon Breeder, Berry Farmer and all-round nice guy. I don't bite, so don't be shy to talk to me. Currently, I'm the Gym Leader for the Forgotten Valley Gym as well as a Breeder by Aya_Drevis's Breeding Center.

Want to know more about me? Well, my favorite pokemon types are fire and water. I'm almost always accompanied by my Lucario and Talonflame. I think that Officer Jenny is a wet blanket, but don't tell her I said that >_>

Even though I am a Gym Leader myself, I want to earn 6 badges of my own, just to prove that I'm strong!

I dug up the first badge I won, a badge which name I forgot, if it even had a name. Pretty, isn't it? Perhaps I should re challenge the gym to win the golden version

Went off to find some gyms to challenge. It seem like my and Zui's gyms are the only active gyms in Emera these days. There are a few other open gyms scattered here and there.

Came across the Aquatic Gym, led by Gym Leader Collin. Not surprisingly, I lost valiantly.



I figured I'll just leave pokemail for the currently closed gyms, hoping they'll give me an opportunity.

On the flipside, Haxorus found another of my old badges, my Lunar badge. At this rate, I just might have 6 badges without having to battle.




Now off to tend to my berry farm

Another day, another failed attempt at being a good Gym Leader and Battler.

Faced of against the Playboy Gym. The Gym Leader royally wiped the floor with my team. And the gym badge was so cute too ;-;




Not long after, my Gym was challenged by a young trainer named Ritvik. I did my best, but in the end I had to hand over yet another gymbadge.



Sometimes I wonder why I ever even started a Gym. But on the bright side, I'll be hiring a Sub Gym Leader soon. Maybe It'll up my winning streak?

Nothing much happened today. Tended to my garden most of the time. There was a pokemon interaction contest, and I did well in all 3 I took part in.

While Rumble Exploring, one of my Pokemon brought back a chest containing a Hard Rock and I used it to befriend a Landorus.



No new badges earned either

Nothing much happened yesterday, so I skipped an entry. But today was different. I had so many gym challenges today. A bunch of losses, but also a few wins. My Nidoking K.O. ed an entire team on it's own!



Nothing else happened afterwards. The sandshrew breeding is going strong, which is great.
