Ivy slowly eases her way out of the basement. Oh please, please,
please... She opens the refrigerator, and grabs the remaining
water in it. Phew... There's some left. She sees a dark
shape slide past her door. Squeaking, she runs down to the basement
with the water, just remembering to close the refridge.
Violet sits on her bed and begins drinking her chocolate milk, but
then Flash springs on her bed and bats it, knocking it in the floor
"Flash!" Violet complains and lightly drags her cat away from the
spill on the floor "Bad little..." She starts, before breaking off
and petting the cat. It gave her comfort, as nervousness for being
home alone was making her feel awkward. -Is that the only reason I
feel strange?- She wonders
"There must be a house somewhere close by....."Auraora though
before she tripped and fell into the water. "Ugh...."Auraora said
before noticing a redish house.
Stone padded to the kitchen and as he walked in, turned into his
human form. He opened the fridge, eyeing some water, and grabbed
it. He started drinking it when he noticed a storm going on out the
window. Great. He groaned and headed back to his room, where
he sat on the bed in boredom and watched the storm.
Ivy shivers in the basement. She watches as a mouse squeaks, and
runs off in a dark corner. She sighs, and goes back out of the
basement, running upstairs to her room, and grabs her comforter,
running back down, tripping and falling on her face near the
bottom. Gasping in pain, she runs down to the basement.
Violet walks over and locks her bedroom door. This was normally
what happened. She mostly just went out of her room to get food,
and the other hours she spent in her room with only a cat for
company. Violet sighs and stares out the window at the downpour.
"I don't see anyone else outside.... I guess there in
inside..."Auraora said before going up to the house and looked
around before she looked in through the window.
In the basement, face bleeding slightly, Ivy hears a crash outside
the door. She creeps out to check out what it was. When she does,
she screams. The door broke down.
Stone changed back into a fox and lay on his bed with his tail over
his paws, watching the lightning flash. He finished the water
bottle and pushed it aside, and stared out the window.
"Ach! How am I supposed to get the door back??" She tries to pull
the door back up, but it is way too heavy for an 11-year-old girl.
She grabs a chair, sticks the door slanted against it. The chair
creaks, but stays. "I guess that's good enough..." She says out
loud.
Violet hugs her cat, feeling a growing sensation of dread. -Please
tell me I'm just paranoid....- She thinks, but can't expel the
horrid emotion deep in her chest. Flash just purrs and nuzzles
Violet, looking calm. Violet grabs a breakfast bar and eats it,
shutting her eyes tightly
Auraora slowly sits down. "I wonder were my mom or dad
are...."Auraora said quietly before she heard some noise came from
upstairs. "I might be wrong.... This house isn't empty...."Auraora
though worried.
Ivy bites her lip, looking around, at the abandoned-looking houses.
I wonder how many of them are even occupied... She glances
outside, and there is a ragdoll cat, with her fluffy fur drenched
right outside. She looks at it, puzzled for a second. "Hello, are
you lost?" She says quietly to the cat. The cat meows and jumps
into her arms. "Come on. I'm gonna warm you up. And then you go
back to where you came from!"
Seto slipped out of the house and into Ivy's house. He saw the door
was fallen in the basement. He left a basket with food in front of
the door and picked it back up into place. The neko walked away.
Violet shivers as some type of a groan comes from the window. -Gah!
It looks like it's going to break!- She thinks, as she opens her
eyes and looks at it. She shoves Flash away, who glares at her.
Violet leaps up, and runs into the garage and grabs a tarp, and
runs back up to her room. She shoves it over the window and grabs
duck tape and tapes it over, holding the tarp in place over the
window. She hears a snapping noise and the window breaks, sending
glass into her room and outside. Violet swallows back a scream as a
glass shard cuts her finger.
Stone pricked his ears and jumped off the bed. "This neighborhood
is just weird." He muttered, hearing a faint scream from one of the
houses. He walked to the door, and leaned outside, looking around.
Humans. He shook his head.
Ivy blinks, looking down at the basket of food. "What...?" She
stares at it for a while. "Thanks whoever did that." She mutters.
"C'mon cutie." She says to the cat, petting it the wrong way to
warm it up. The cat hisses at her, and Ivy runs down the satire to
the basement, and wraps the cat up in a blanket <3
