I agree sithu but there is one prob that is they can't risk by bringing perara into the squad as miler and maxwel are one of there best and pwerfull batsman and the fact is that the should be morkel and Mathews in the squad together.the overseas played for'dd should be Mathews, morkel, dumminy and tahir as counter'nile can bowl and did a bad performance against RR Angelo and morkel are good batsman and bowler

Well, I would say 4 overseas for DD-

Duminy(need to lick him cuz he's the captain), Mathews, Albie Morkel(or)Nathan Coulter-Nile, Imran Tahir

4 overseas for KXIP-
Maxwell, Miller, Bailey, Johnson(no one can disagree with these 4)

Yeah, but Albie is a better batsman than bowler.

Coulter-Nile picked 3 wickets but performed badly against RR.

Mathews did an all round performance last game.

Mathews is clearly in, but DD need to take a gamble on Morkel or Coulter-Nile.

What's the weather forecast for that game? I think it's fine in Pune.

Remember the 1992 CWC 2nd Semi-final, Albie Morkel, Imran Tahir & David Miller know it better than anybody.

today's IPL match features KXIP and DD. Here are my thoughts about the teams playing:
KXIP
They have a strong middle order comprising of Maxwell, Miller and Perera and George Bailey coming in at no.3 or 4. Their top order looks good as well with Vijay and Sehwag.. If Sehwag, who is out of form, can fire, the KXIP are going to have a huge chance of winning. Their bowling is going to be led by the agressive Johnson who is an important factor in the match. However, the problem is that the other KXIP bowlers can go for a lot of runs if it is not their day. But their batting is what gives them the edge.
DD
Having got the expierience of JP Duminy and Yuvraj Singh, they are a formidable team to deal with. Their top order looks talented with Mayank Agarwal and Shreyas Iver, but the question is, can they convert their starts into big knocks???????? They have also got Albie Morkel batting down the order to provide the big hits. As for their bowling, they have got Nathan Coulter Nile and Zaheer Khan leading the pace bowling. Then there's Albie Morkel and A. Matthews who can chip in with wickets. Overall, the DD team has got both talent and expierience but can they utilise it? Watch the match to find out!!!!8)

& DD might not have Shami or Zaheer due to fitness issues. So they might need Domnic Joseph to come back or Gurinder Sandhu to come into the line-up. Then they need to leave 2 of Albie(or)Coulter-Nile(or)Mathews. Then they need an Indian player, if I were the Delhi coach at that point, I would put Saurabh Tiwary. for 2 reasons. 1.He's a left hander. 2.That doesn't hurt the combination. You may bowl the 1 of the all-rounder's 4 overs in JP Duminy & Yuvraj.

So I would say if Shami & Zaheer are not aviable here's my XI-

Agarwal, Manoj Tiwary, Iyer, Duminy(c), Yuvraj, Saurabh Tiwary, Jadhav(wk), Mathews(or)Albie(or)Coulter-Nile, Gurinder Sandhu, Amit Mishra, Imran Tahir

Here's the report

KXIP won the toss & chose to bat

DD made 1 change-=Domnic Joseph comes in, Jaidev Unadkat goes out.

KXIP named unchanged

KXIP 165-7(20)/DD-169/5(19.5)
MoM-Mayank Agarwal

353 days – that is how many days it took Delhi Daredevils to put the brakes on their losing streak. They tasted success on Wednesday - for the first time since 27 April 2014 – when they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 5 wickets at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Set to chase 166, Delhi Daredevils were slow off the blocks, but accelerated through Mayank Agarwal and Yuvraj Singh, who added 106 from 66 balls.

Though DD lost opener Shreyas Iyer to a short-pitched delivery from Sandeep Sharma and skipper JP Duminy was run out in unfortunate circumstances - backing up too far, they had a platform which set up the chase. Agarwal, who had picked up three boundaries in the first two overs, reined himself and appeared to be batting with the intention of batting through to the end. He kept ticking the scoreboard over, while Yuvraj raced off the blocks hitting four boundaries in his first 21 runs.

KXIP skipper Bailey bowled out Sandeep and Johnson by the 15th over in search of wickets. Once Agarwal and Yuvraj had survived past the 15 overs, there was going to be only one winner. The former became the first batsman to post 50 in the match with an audacious hook shot off Johnson. Yuvraj turned on the heat in the 16th over when he deposited the left-arm spinner Axar Patel into the stands twice – once over long on and then over the square-leg fence. He then whipped a full length delivery from Anureet Singh into the stands to bring up his half-century; the 33-year old left-hander consumed 39 balls for his 55, and his association with Agarwal yielded the team 106 runs. Both the half-centurions perished in the 19th over - off consecutive deliveries - with their team needing seven more runs to win. Angelo Mathews struck the winning hit off Axar Patel to see his team past the finish line - with a solitary ball to spare.

For DD, Sandeep Sharma was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 1-30 in his four overs. Johnson was sharp, and clocked a fastest speed of 151.1kph on the speed gun – but unfortunately for KXIP, the Australian went wicket-less and conceded 43 runs in his four overs. Anureet Singh was the most successful bowler for KXIP, returning figures of 2 for 33.

Earlier in the evening, KXIP skipper George Bailey won the toss and decided his team would bat first. Murali Vijay and Virender Sehwag saw the team off to a sound start, adding 33 runs in 29 balls, before the former was dismissed by Angelo Mathews. Sehwag – who did not bat in his usual flamboyant ‘see ball, hit ball’ style but was rather conservative for major part of his innings - carried on, and in the company of Wriddhiman Saha (who batted at number three) added 71 runs. Saha was enterprising of the two batsmen, scoring 39 off 28 balls, including hitting three sixes, while Sehwag chipped in with 29 runs from 25 balls. The partnership was broken when Saha attempted to slog sweep Amit Mishra, but was beaten by a quicker and flatter delivery, made no contact with the ball and had the woodwork behind him rearranged.

From 105 for 2 after 14 overs, DD could only add a further 60 runs in the final six overs. Sehwag, who was severe on Imran Tahir scoring 15 runs from four deliveries, was dismissed in the 15th over, immediately after he had hit JP Duminy for a six over midwicket; he made 47 from 41 balls, studded with four boundaries and two sixes.

Glenn Maxwell picked up two sixes off Imran Tahir, but the leg-spinner had the last laugh, dismissing the Australian caught at covers. David Miller made 5 from 7 balls before he became Duminy’s second victim. Axar Patel and George Bailey picked up 19 runs off the 19th over bowled by Amit Mishra, and that helped KXIP finish with 165 runs on the board. There were six overs where the KXIP batsmen amassed 10 runs or more in the over, and six other overs in which the batsmen failed to score less than run-a-ball.

Nathan Coulter-Nile was the most impressive of the KXIP bowlers; the Australian paceman bowled his three overs (which had 13 dot deliveries) for 14 runs, but surprisingly did not get to complete his quota of four overs. Amit Mishra (1-34) bowled his first three overs for 15 runs, before conceding 19 in his final over. Imran Tahir, who conceded 34 in two overs, finished his four overs with figures of 3-43 to firm up the Purple Cap on his head.

So that's it. DD registered their 1st points of the campaign, 1st points since beating MI last year in 27th April 2014, 1st win in 353 days. So tomorrow SRH will take on RR who have 3 wins out of 3 & interesting to see how Sunrisers fare in that match. But that's all from now, good bye

today is the match between srh and rr

The best bowling team with face of with the number 1 standing team till now in the pepsi ipl rr.For SRH to be competitive, they will need one of the two openers – skipper David Warner or Shikhar Dhawan – to bat for as long as possible. Not only are they capable of winning matches single-handedly, but by virtue of being left-hand batsmen they pose plenty of problems to bowlers in the opposition ranks.

Given the kind of form he is riding on, there is no reason to look beyond Steve Smith in the RR lineup. Six of Smith’s last eight innings have been scores of 50 or more. The youngster Deepak Hooda has been impressive in the three matches he has played so far, and the teenager will be keen to keen to further enhance the reputation he has established.

Dale steyn is not in top form so he will not play todays match but ravi bopara the replacement of him has performed wonderfull in the last the matches.

Team Squads :

Sunrisers Hyderabad Squad : Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner(c), Kane Williamson, Lokesh Rahul,Naman Ojha(w), Ravi Bopara, Ashish Reddy, Karn Sharma, Praveen Kumar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar,Trent Boult, Dale Steyn, Ishant Sharma, Moises Henriques, Parvez Rasool, Ricky Bhui, Chama Milind,Eoin Morgan, Laxmi Shukla, Hanuma Vihari, Prasanth Padmanabhan,Siddarth Kaul

Rajasthan Royals Squad : Ajinkya Rahane, Sanju Samson(w), Steven Smith(c), Karun Nair,Deepak Hooda, Stuart Binny, James Faulkner, Chris Morris, Tim Southee, Dhawal Kulkarni, Pravin Tambe, Rajat Bhatia, Abhishek Nayar, Ben Cutting, Dishant Yagnik, Vikramjeet Malik, Ankit Sharma, Rahul Tewatia, Dinesh Salunkhe, RustyTheron, Pardeep Sahu, Brainder Sran, Sagar Trivedi

I am supporting RR.

For 3 reasons

1.The Australian duo of Steve Smith & James Faulknar
2.The Deepak Hooda factor
3.Their recent form:3 wins out of 3
