thanks for that and I will make the Mumbai Indians guide[/img] now

Batsman-Rohit Sharma, Aditya Tare, Lendl Simmons, Aaron Finch, Aiden Blizzard, Nitish Rana, Siddhesh Lad, Umukt Chand,
All-rounders -Kieron Pollard, Corey Anderson, Hardik Pandya,
Wicket-keepers -Ambati Rayudu, Parthiv Patel
Quicks-Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, Josh Hazelwood, Marchant de Lange, Pwan Suyal, Mitchell McClenaghan, Abhimanyu Mithun, Vinay Kumar,
Spinners-Harbajan Singh, Shreyas Gopal, Pragyan Ojha, Akshay Wakhare, Jagadeesha Suchitch

Squad that should play
Umukt Chand, Aaron Finch(or)Lendl Simmons, RG Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, Siddhesh Lad, Parthiv Patel, Kieron Pollard(or)Corey Anderson, Harbhajan Singh(or)Shreyas Gopal(or)Pragyan Ojha, Lasith Malinga, Vinay Kumar(or)Abhimanyu Mithun, Josh Hazelwood(or)itchell McClenghan

Strengths
MI's strength is their big hitting all-rounders. Both Kieron Pollard and Corey Anderson in the team. and they've got Good openers in Chand, Fincha & Simmons. and a strong middle-order including RG Sharma, Rayudu, Blizzard, Tare and Parthiv Patel which makes them a batting power house. The next strength is their fast bowling. look at their pace bowling attack:Malinga, Hazelwood, McClenghan, Mithun and VInay Kumar. Nothing gets better than that MI.

Weaknesses
The real concern of MI is the shortage of a experienced spinner. Both Harbhajhan and Pragyan Ojha are experienced but not taking wickets. So they might need inexperienced leg spinner Shreyas Gopal to step up to the plate. If not, MI will feel the downfall cuz of their weak spin attack.

sorry for the double post because I need to make the final team for the guide and this has to me my post. And here's the King XI Punjab guide

Batsman-George Bailey(c), David Miller, Glenn Maxwell, Gurkeerat Mann Singh, Manam Vohra, Shaun Marsh, Virender Sehwag, Nikhil Naik,
All-rounders-Rishi Dhawan, Shivam Sharma, Thisara Perera
Wicket-keepers-Wriddiman Saha
Quicks-Anureet Singh, Beuran Hendricks, Mitchell Johnson, Parvinder Awana, Sandeep Sharma, Shardul Thakur,
Spinners-Axar Patel, Karanveer Singh, Yogesh Golwalkar

Team that should play
Virender Sehwag, Murali Vijay, Manam Vohra, Wriddiman Saha(wk), Glenn Maxwell, David Miller, George Bailey, Rishi Dhawan, Mitchell Johnson, Axar Patel, Parvinder Awana(or)Shardul Thakur

Strengths
KXIP have everything as their strength.{not really}.They're a batting power house and their bowling is also breathtaking. so they are a team to beat. They are also a settled team with only 2 players released. Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Kartik who actually retired and ches Mandeep Singh has joined RCB. and 3 coming in. Only Murali Vijay the big one.

Weaknesses
I see no weaknesses for this team.

That is all for the preview guides. The discussion about the matches. SO keep supporting IPL. And the match scores and summaries will be posted in this forum.

thanks madman for the advertisement. as you are offline, I will make the mathc preview, playing XI and the match scores.
Here's the preview:
The opening contest of Pepsi IPL 2015 – featuring defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and IPL 2013 champions Mumbai Indians.

KKR embark on the Pepsi IPL 2015 journey eyeing a third Indian Premier League title – following their success in 2012 and last season. The franchise has retained the bulk of the squad that won them the title last season and made additions to the squad during the Pepsi IPL 2015 Player Auction – more to give the captain and coach the flexibility of depth and variety.

KKR have cracked the code to success in the IPL pretty well. They have relied heavily on their openers – skipper Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa – to set up a platform after which an experienced and explosive middle-order – comprising Manish Pandey, Shakib-al-Hasan, Yusuf Pathan and Suryakumar Yadav - can cut loose. On the bowling front, KKR will be boosted by the news that their premiere bowler Sunil Narine - who was reported for a suspect action last season – has been cleared and can reclaim his place in the XI.

Mumbai Indians, who clinched the title in 2013 and qualified for the Playoffs in the 2014 season, will be aiming to go the distance and lay their hands on silverware yet again. After a turbulent start – losing their first five matches, MI picked themselves up, rallied brilliantly and edged the Rajasthan Royals out in the race to the Playoffs, before losing to the Chennai Super Kings in the Eliminator. Though the team has retained the core of the players who sported the MI jersey last season heading into the 2015 season, there has been a change at the helm; the New Zealander John Wright, who was the head coach last season, has handed the baton to Ricky Ponting and it is expected that the Australian’s experience of doing well in high-stakes matches will hold MI in good stead in the pressure-cooker situations which is a regular feature of the league.

The Mumbai Indians too have plenty of explosive batsmen in their line-up. Aaron Finch is expected to partner Unmukt Chand at the top of the innings; the Australian, together with skipper Rohit Sharma, Corey Anderson and Kieron Pollard will play key roles in MI’s batting scheme of things. On the bowling front, the eight overs combined of Lasith Malinga and Harbhajan Singh will be critical to MI’s success.

MI started the innings in total disarray losing Finch, Tare and Rayudu in the Powerplay. But Corey Anderson came out to the crease at the score of 37-3, him and RG Sharma put on a 131 run stand, which allowed them to reach 168-3 in 20 overs.

KKR in response suffered a big blow when they lost the orange cap holder Robin Uthappa for just 9 next to his name. But Gautam Gambhir and Manish Pandey stepped up and just a good partnership. Then a quick fire 46 from Suryakumar Yadav sealed the game for KKR.

Morne Morkel was adjudged Man of the Match

THAT'S ALL FROM ME FOR THIS MATCH. JOIN US TOMORROW FOR THE BIG CLASH BETWEEN CSK & THE NEW LOOKING DD. UNTIL THAT TIME, GOODBYE.

i support kkr in this ipl :D let me come to the point the preview of todays match between dd and csk:-
today is the match 2 of the pepsi ipl 2015 its between the 2 times champion csk and the dd .
its likely that csk will win the match today as csk has a strong batting and a strong bowling lineup.CSK, who seem to have made it a habit of finishing among the final four teams, will look to begin with a flourish, go the distance this season (after getting eliminated in Qualifier2 in Pepsi IPL 2014) and add to the titles they won in 2010 and 2011. For DD, who have endured some difficult times in recent seasons, and finished at the floor of the table in Pepsi IPL 2014, the immediate goal will be to start getting a few wins under the belt, netting points and getting the confidence levels up within the team and among the fans.

But csk captian ms dhoni should not take dd lightly delhi daredevils have a lot of experienced players like yuvraj singh sri lankan all rounder angelo mathews.DD has a good squad and a balaced team but they have to hope that there batsman and bowlers click in this ipl season. The main problem for delhi is that every year they change a lot of there players. If yuvraj singh clicks today there will be a storm sixes and fours will rain. And if zaheer khan clicks with the help of shami who has a brilliant world cup can demolish the csk batting line up.People who didnt know that zaheer khan can swing the ball both ways and for him we indians won the 2011 world. The only problem i see now is that if zaheer and yuvraj doesnot click they are dead it will be a big gamble for dd..
Trivia:-Yuvraj Singh has scored more runs against the Delhi Daredevils than against any other team. Off the 1851 runs he has scored so far in the IPL, 342 runs have been scored in 11 innings against DD. He will incidentally be taking the field in the Delhi Daredevils jersey this season

Lets see who will win dont forget to watch the match today it will be awesome :D thank you for reading this

hmm...CSK up against DD! It will be a great contest but according to me, CSK have the upper hand in this contest. Having got Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni and other reliable people in their batting line up along with a superb spin bowling duo comprising of R. Ashwin and Jadeja, they surely have the upper hand. Also their IPL record has been incredible!

Mayank Agarwal, CM Gautam(wk), Shreyas Iyer, JP Duminy(c), Yuvraj Singh, Albie Morkel, Kedar Jadhav, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Amit Mishra, Dominic Joseph, Imran Tahir

and the following spoiler has got the player battle for tonight's battle

CSK 150-7(20 overs)Dwayne Smith 34, du Plessis 32, Coulter-Nile 3-30, Duminy 1-15

CSK started the innings in a bright fashion. Albie Morkel going for 16 in the first over. But Coulter-Nile pulled things back with 2 big wickets of the dangerous McCullum and Raina. And then all the Delhi bowlers chipped in with wickets. As they restrict the CSK score before played a valuable 30 to let reach 150-7. You never about this one. DD might go on to chase or CSK might defend this one. Last year KXIP managed to defend 132 against KKR. so why can't CSK do it.

lighting complete it and here is the review of todays match

KXIP VS RR

today is the battle between rajasthan royals and the mighty kings eleven punjab.

punjab is the favourite in todays match after the outstanding performance in ipl 2014.But rr will look to demolish the previous year champions with there class of players there are many all rounders in there team but only 1 batsman.

kxip have a weak bowling lineup but there bowling lineup is not that weak as many people think they have pacers like johnson and with the youngster akshar patel they can hold the batsman for a bit.RR has steve smith who had a wonderfull world cup and he will pair on with indian test opening batsman rahane, watson.there tail eners can also bat like faulkner can bat pretty well.

Though Kings XI Punjab got the better of the Rajasthan Royals on both occasions last season, it is the latter who have a better overall record in meetings between the two teams. RR have won 8 of their 13 matches against KXIP.

and later The Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals will be seen in action next on April 12. While RR head to the national capital Delhi to take on the Delhi Daredevils, KXIP fly westwards to Mumbai to clash with the Mumbai Indians in the late evening fixture.

GUYS DONT FORGET TO WATCH THE MATCH

yeah, King_of_scizor, never ever SPAM!!!
Anyways, coming onto today's match, I would say both teams have got a good squad, however, KXIP have got the better chance due to their match record against RR and Glenn Maxwell!!!!!! On the other hand, RR have got the likes of Steve Smith, Watson and Rahane and a pretty decent bowling line up. But can they contain the six hitting machine Glenn Maxwell????Not to forget, David Miller's hungry for runs as well!
