This is the story of Jack Kenway, or whom he prefers to be called, NightStrider. His creators like to call him, Project KD101. The first successful human project. Kenway is distantly related to two great warriors. Daniel Nagasama: Speed Talon, and Michael Connors: Gem Shifter. Two people who were born with special abilities, but Jack wasn't. He had powers because they implemented them on him. Jack was given multiple powers and an extra form.
His powers include: Absorbing matter, Super Speed, and Afterimage. His new form is Nightmare mode, which his whole appearance changes, he becomes bigger, terrifying strength, and no emotions.
What a life for a 12 year old kid.

Title: Chapter 1: Project KD101

Boom! An explosion had just gone off, creating an alarm clock for everyone in this secret campus. A twelve year old named Jack Kenway goes for the impossible in this lab, which is to escape. "Anyone coming with me?" Jack asked, but no one answered. The doors managed to break open, but made the scientists aware of his escape attempt. Jack ran towards a lake in beautiful full moon. "No, no, no. Please don't hurt me!" Jack stated, running. He tripped, and a scientist injected him several times. And, Jack fell asleep.

He woke up inside the lab again. "What are you doing?" Jack asked, and a scientist replied, "Kenway, touch that titanium handle." And Jack touched it. His life flashed before his eyes. His hand was forming into a solid titanium color. "What have you... done to me?!" Jack asked, attacking a scientist. "Calm down, KD101." A scientist, named Clark Fitzgerald said. "KD101, am I some toy to you people? You just created a monster!" Jack replied attacking everyone and throwing Clark out and breaking the room. "Mess with me. I dare you." Jack said, turning normal. He ran towards the forest.

On his way, Jack found some flexible clothes. He switched into them, since his clothes were dirty. "I'll head to the city but first, I'll rest."

Jack woke up, he started running to the city. He noticed his speed, and ran faster. He saw a statue. It had Daniel Nagasama. He touched the heart of the statue, and suddenly he looked like Daniel.

"Daniel has came back?!" A man said, "I thought he died by saving us!" A woman said.

"Not only can I change my features by touching, but I can form into its shape..." Jack thought. "Alright, Daniel. If you're real come at me!" A masked girl said. "She sounds familiar." Jack whispered.

"Alright, you asked for it!" Jack said, running at super speed towards her...
She dodged it! "Slow, for a guardian, in fact. Slow for a human!" The masked girl said, attacking Jack and taking him down. "Weak. What a los-" Her sentence was cut by Jack transforming back into his normal self. "Who are you?" The masked girl asked. "I am, NightStrider!" Jack replied. "Well I'm... uh... VolcanBlood!" The masked girl answered. "Stop fighting!" Said a citizen, and pointed towards the forest. At lightning speed, Jack ran towards the forest, while VolcanBlood flew there.
After they made it there they looked at each other, Jack grabbed his mask and took it off. "Jack?" VolcanBlood asked, taking her mask off. "Kim?" Jack asked.

You see, Jack is 12 and Kim was 14, but Jack had a crush on Kim, they both were in the trapped campus.
