Curveclaw watches Sunstar. His eyes gleam with Battle-Hunger. He runs into the forest and leaps at a mouse and eats it. -So what about the warrior code? Im not on a hunting patrol.- He catches a squirrel and stalks to camp and drops the squirrel on the pile and stalks to the warriors den.

The 3 littermates, Orangepath, Snakewhisker, ane Cherrycrystal knew what Sunstar was up to. He was gaining Gemstar's trust.
