Helio sat down,her anxiety wearing off,and she instantly got a sassy tone."I can't help it,"she said.Her eyes suddenly snapped shut.A high-pitched squeak of a sneeze made her body shudder.Her tail flipped over her paws.

Ezio flicked his ear,waiting.

Lara stared at the group of pokemon.

"Well, aren't you an odd group...Not many people visited out here. Not since...nevermind. Here, how about you let me take you to my home for some rest, that shinx obviously is not well."

Castiel had moved over and stood in front of Helio protectively, not trusting this stranger.

Lara tsked at this move, shaking her head at the eevee.

"You of all pokemon should know I mean no harm."

Castiel's eyes narrowed, as he stared at the mysterious pokemon.

"What do you mean...?"

Lara chuckled, shaking her head. She was enjoying this.

"Oh, never mind me! Follow me."

She began to float in the direction of her home.

Lara arrived to a rather large cave and floated into it, and the climate seemed to shift dramatically. The cave was a lot bigger on the inside, and a waterfall crashed and sprayed water vapor around. Pokémon were scattered here and there, chatting and laughing. Lara giggled slightly turning toward the group of pokemon.

"I may have forgotten to note that this was an inn."

In the far corner,a white flareon whipped his tail back and forth with impatience.Helio approached him gingerly.
"Who are you?Are you waiting for someone?"
The huge white pokemon lifted his head."I'm...I'm Paladin.And yes,I've been looking for someone for the past twenty years."
Ezio looked shocked at the sound of the name."Paladin?Is that you?"
Paladin studied Ezio for a moment before his ears shot up."Ezio!It's you!"
"Is Ezio who you were looking for?"Helio asked.
Paladin's happy attitude seemed to fall."No,but he's her brother!"

A flareon saw the group enter,and started over towards them.

"Lara!"

Lara turned around, smiling broadly at her friend.

"Ahti! How great it is to see you!"

The flareon, now known as Ahti, smiled, looking at the eevee standing besides her friend.

"Oh my! Is that who I think it is? Castiel?"

Castiel was startled by the use of his name, staring at the flareon in confusion.

"How do you know my name?"

Ahti's face fell, and she looked sadly at Castiel.

"You don't remember me...? I was your old childhood friend..."

As Paladin sat chatting with Ezio and Ahti was speaking with Lara and Castiel,Helio sat down,feeling like she was missing out on something.Realizing somebody was missing from her life,too.Do I have a sister,or a brother?My mom or dad?Maybe my childhood friend is missing,too.She looked around the inn,searching for any familiar faces,before remembering she didn't remember anything from her past.

Castiel's eyes widened, taking a step toward Ahti.

"Ahti!? It's really you? I'm sorry I didn't recognize you! Last I saw you were an eevee!"

Ahti ran forward Castiel, nuzzling his head happily. She had tears running down her fluffy cheeks.

"I know! One day you just disappeared from the orphanage! I was so worried..."

Castiel nuzzled her back, his heart happy to be reunited with his old friend.

"What do you do now?"

Ahti grinned, lopsided yet adorable. Excitement shone in her eyes.

"I'm a mage now, could you believe it!! I brew potions and even though I am not a physic can do quite a bit of magic. I am not as good at it, but potion brewing really clicks with me! How about you?"

Castiel smirked, remembering their old childhood dreams. They both had wanted to form a team together when they were younger, but one day Castiel just left the orphanage. He didn't remember why though.

"I formed an exploration team! But anyway, I have someone want you to meet."

Castiel then led Ahti over to Helio, smiling broadly.

Helio sat in deep thought.

Paladin was still speaking to Ezio."Anyway,have you seen Espeon recently?"
Umbreon's gaze darkened."Yes.She's not exactly as sweet as she used to be."
The flareon's heart seemed to shatter in his chest,and his already snow-white paled sickeningly.
"You mean..."
"Yes,"Ezio confirmed."She's the one who stole the Scorched Orb."

Helio's ears twitched and her face brightened at being included."Helioswift,"she replied,extending her paw.

Ezio patted Paladin's paw reassuringly."Espeon isn't what she used to be,"He said.Paladin nodded sadly."I was hoping that we'd see each other again.She promised..."
Ezio shook his head."Espeon doesn't want anything but power anymore.Speaking of which,we need to keep heading north."The umbreon stood and drew his cloak around him with a shiver."We should probably stay here for a night,though.None of us are fit to travel."

IC: "Are you part of that exploration team that Castiel was talking about?" Ahti asked, her head tilting and causing her eyes to flop like a bunnirs.
Castiel shook his head, glancing over at Helioswift before continuing,"No, she's just a friend. I actually don't know where my team is. As of now though I am traveling with her."

Helio nodded."Cas' team is back at the forest we started in. Eterna forest,I think,"she added."It's funny,'cause almost every pokemon I met there is shiny. Castiel is shiny,the wild pokemon I've seen are shiny.I bet my parents are shiny,too!"
Ezio flinched.
Helio didn't notice Ezio's reaction and continued on."There's this huge shiny stone in the middle of a bunch of trees.It's almost as big as the mossy rock.I hatched there,and I kind of remember seeing my mom-"
Ezio dashed over to Helio and bowled her over,sending them both sprawling across the floor."Let's not discuss this,"he said,voice shaky but stern.He straightened himself and picked Helio up by the scruff to help her stand."It's a very personal thing."
Ezio shook his head to clear it and turned to face the rest of the pokemon."Well,we'll need to stay here for the night before we head farther north."

Ahti and Castiel, both startled and confused over Ezios sudden outburst, both sat quietly for a moment.
Breaking the silence, Ahti spoke up,"Ah, well, before you leave tomorrow make sure to stop by my little Shop. I have some supplies I can give you for your trip, on the house."
Castiel blinked, looking at Ahti, "For free? Really?"
"Well, yeah. I mean, I get plenty of business everyday either way. Lara brings a lot of exploration teams here when they need to rest, in fact that's what most pokemon here are."
Eerily, almost as if she had known she was mentioned, Lara appeared out of seemingly thin air. "I can show you to where you will stay tonight." She said in her chilly voice, monotone and seemingly bored.

Ezio nodded and followed Lara.Helioswift stayed behind,not too keen to leave the friends she'd just made.She felt like she had a family.Maybe I did once,before I lost almost all my memories.

Castiel followed Lara, glancing over at Helioswift with an almost worried expression,"Are you okay, Helioswift? You look a little sad." His voice was filled was concern, and he slowed his steps to he could walk alongside her.
