I'd kind of like to see the "Private Messages" link to be in a more available spot, and maybe to have a counter of how many unread messages you have next to it, such as:

Private Messages(1)
PMs(1)

It would just seem a bit more handy, considering sometimes I can get a bit social, and whenever I have conversations through PMs, I keep checking, and checking, and checking the link again and again to see if I have any new messages.

I agree lol i was lucky that i saw a pm when going to the union room othrwise i would not have known someone had pmed me.

Whenever you have unread PMs, a letter appears right next to the logout link. Pretty big and pretty noticeable.
