Okay, deputy and below all have only 1 life, some battles you can flee from without dieing, and then leaving someone else to deal and kill them, apprentices and children do not fight, apprentices are training to become warriors, if an apprentices mentor says they can join the battle they can.

(I am an apprentice, if i get trained then i will be a warrior then what do i have to do to become a deputy?)

If you wanna become a deputy, you have to fight well and hard, and prove skill, if the deputy is not working hard/betrayed or died, a new deputy will be announced.

If you mean be 2 different characters, then yes. But hence you are a deputy, you need to have another character.
