As Fiery was about to take another step forward, she heard some distant screaming. "PLEASE! GET YOUR CLAWS OFF OF ME YOU ... YOU... YOU BRUTE!!" Fiery turned to Nemorosus in shock. "Someone's got to be in trouble!" She said worriedly.

Nemorosus nodded. He rushed forward, seeking the voice. He finally found some Pokemon, and growled "Leave her alone! We won't let you get away with this!"

To Fiery's surprise, she was standing in front of a legendary pokémon. Not just one, but two! A Mew was being held by its tail by a Palkia, who seemed very intimidating to Fiery. "Brute!" The Mew whimpered. The Palkia noticed Fiery and Nemorosus the moment they showed themselves. "Leave her alone...? Heh, what kind of joke is that?" He grunted. "And if you're going to try to 'stop' me, go right ahead!"

"Ready to b-battle?!" Fiery replied in fright. Meanwhile, the Palkia dropped the Mew who soon fled in terror. "How amusing." Palkia commented, seeing the overly frightened expression on Fiery's face.

Palkia retaliated by forcefully slashing at Nemorosus with Dragon Claw. Fiery sighed and tried to calm herself as she tried to think of what she could do.

"You might as well give up." Palkia sighed, trying not to laugh. Fiery decided that she could possibly settle things with words instead of fighting. Quickly, being unable to make up her mind, she asked Nemorosus in a whisper,"Do you think we should try talking to him instead of fighting..? There are small chances we could even defeat him...."

Fiery felt a little uncertain with Nemorosus's reply. "I guess...." She answered. "Look, we're pretty sure that you may be a lot stronger than both of us, but why exactly were you attacking that Mew from before? What did she do?" Fiery hoped that her questions wouldn't bring out attacks. Palkia, who was nearly ready to use Dragon Claw again stopped in his tracks. "Well, if you had any sense in your mind, did you know there is something called territory?!" He growled, trying to look more intimidating.

"Oh, sure there is. But much more for you to learn." Palkia said dimly, as he realized there was no use in talking to Nemorosus and Fiery. Palkia lied down to nap, knowing that this would most likely cause Fiery and Nemorosus to leave. Fiery just shook her head. "A very invalid reason to have attacked that Mew..." She said.

"She couldn't of gotten far, but certainly, she wouldn't be around here if Palkia is near..." Fiery pointed out. "I guess we'll need to search for her." She added.
