Chloe's mum had called asleep while driving. "Mother, mum! MUM!" Chloe's car collided with another and it was on the news in seconds. Dragon groaned as he stood up and stared at the TV, ears flatterning. "SHADE! SHADE, LOOK AT THIS!?" He bellowed.

shade came out of his room and skidded to a stop at the end of the hallway, staring at the t.v. in horror.

"There was no way she could have lived. She said, and people here are gathering to remember the young lady that died. Rusty the dog, M.N.S. News." The reporter said. Dragon grabbed Shade. "It's only about 15 minutes away, let's go!" Dragon said, a frown upon his face, he started running.

''oh chloe... please be alive...! mom! me and dragon will be back later'' he called to her.
''alright, just be careful'' their mother called from the kitchen.
he sighed and sprinted out the door, grabbing his old skate board and helmet.
he clipped it on and ran, then dropped the skate board.
he leaped onto it and started skating to where chloe and her mother had crashed.

There was ambulances everywhere, police cars and fire engines, there was a body covered over, and one that was stretched into an ambulance. Dragon looked over at Shade and looked at the body on the strecher. "Chloe is dead."

''dragon... i am not going to let her die.. you know i don't give up easily'' he said, picking his skate board up and climbing up onto the back of the ambulance just before it started to drive off.
he kept a good grip on the door's with one hand and making a dark strap wrap around him, keeping him secure to the ambulance door.

Dragon quickly climbed onto the back of the ambulance before it drove off, he opened the doors and peered at Chloe's dead body.

shade peered inside as well and his ear's pinned back.
he turned into shadow and crept inside, trying to keep from being seen as he made the ambulance person next to the stretcher fall asleep, catching him and carefully laying him down.
he made sure the way to see in the way was blocked enough so the driver didn't notice both of them and turned solid.
shade grabbed dragon's hand and helped him in, closing the door's silently.

Dragon unzipped he bag to show Chloe's hair almost all gone, one of her ears ripped off, a broken leg and arm and get head was cut open.

he walked over and pinned his ear's back, rubbing the back of his hand against her cheek.
''oh chloe.... i am so sorry this happened to you.....'' he murmured, tear's swelling up in his eye's.
shade put his forehead against her's and closed his eye's, a feint dark blue glow appearing as his eye's opened a little.
''by death's toll on thy love.. i revive thee from eternal sleep...'' he mumbled, holding his hand's over the wound's an broken leg and arm.
a flash of dark blue light appeared, healing her wound's and mending the broken bone's.
her hair grew back and her head wound's closed before he attempted to revive her.

Chloe's hair turned chocolate brown, it was no longer the pinky colour, her eyes opened a little. "S-Shade?"

shade made sure she was healed enough and the glowing in his eye's stopped.
he smiled and tear's started streaming.
''heh, death has no string's on my family and friend's when i'm around...'' he chuckled, leaning down and lightly kissing her forehead.
