For unknown reasons, about a year after you first joined the academy due to strange skills, it has shut down, though only temporarily, but it may be a while to open again. You were sent to different families who agreed to treat you well, and that is where you are now. Some of you are coincidentally sent to your old families, as long as they still agreed to treat you well. Most of the academy students live fairly close to each other, so most likely you will see each other again. You remember the Principal told you and the other children it would be no time before the problems will be solved.
During your time at the academy, you have grown more control over your powers, as well as skill to seem more, well, normal. Occasionally one of you is sent to a family who breaks the promise to be kind and treat you normally, but rarely. Strange things begin to happen in the world once the academy is gone, but what?

Crystal silently walked into her room, not noticing the other form nearby. Hearing a noise, Crystal turned to see Violet looking through her stuff. "What are you doing?" she asked dully.

Violet quietly walked into the kitchen, opening the fridge. Why did I do that again, she wondered. She didn't know why she did the things she did, it was like she knew she should. Pouring something to drink, she walked back into her own room, taking a book off of her shelf and opening it.

Staring at her screen blankly, Crystal stood up and called in the direction Violet's mother was. "I'm going for a walk, I'll be back later." She exited the house, and stood outside.
