Hey guys! The name's Tema, and I keep meaning to make one of these. So, I like organization and writing and big posts. So there'll be a directory here. If I can find the time to properly code it I'll link each post to the directory. If not, I'll attach the exact post time to serve as an easy way to see the posts you want, since some of these posts will be long. Sooo...here we go!

About Me

My name's Tema. I'm currently 17, with my birthday on the Fourth of December. I'm a genderqueer/genderfluid teen, floating somewhere in the middle of the spectrum most days. Romantically, I identify as a lesbian. I am DFAB (Determined Female at Birth). I'm an IB (International Baccalaureate) student in my second year of true IB with two years prior to that in Pre-IB classes. I'm in the United States, in the South. Specifically, my state is Georgia, and I'm in the mid-western region of Georgia. I am a Senior. My curriculum is as follows:

As for other school stuff, I'm an art kid first and foremost. Last year I was the curator at my school through our NAHS (National Art Honor Society) chapter. I hope to be the same this year. I am also a theatre kid and I'm a recent inductee into Thespain Society. I've been involved in three shows, Sleepy Hollow as Crew (Backstage and set design), Snow Show as a singer, and Once on This Island as Crew (Backstage and set design). I am hoping to become the Activities Director of my school's Thespian chapter. I'm the President of my school's PALS chapter. (PALS is a group determined to introduce comradeship between neurotypical and special education students. I am the group's first aneurotypical student leadership, though I am not a special education student.) I am a member of my school's SADD chapter (Students against destructive decisions) and I hope to take a leadership role in that organization, too.

Outside of school and extracurriculars, I enjoy producing artwork and I enjoy listening to and dabbling in music. I enjoy regularly donating blood and volunteering in my community. I am a martial artist and I am working towards my black belt in Karate and Mixed Martial Arts. I am working towards my Level One in Krav Maga as well. I have been a martial artist for six years. I enjoy horseback riding but I'm finding I enjoy taking care of horses at my local rescue even more. I love dogs. I enjoy anime and manga, and reading as well. I'm a novice author with a few small things I'd love to refine and have published later. For seeing stuff on my art, see the Directory.

I have a nice group of friends who I love wholeheartedly. I'm currently in love with a wonderful college student. I've know her six years and she's my everything. We share interests in video games, theatre, writing, animals, art, music, and many other things. She got me into theatre in the first place. We enjoy playing Mario games together. About My Art
My Art is typically described as contemporary pop surreal and includes themes from many contemporary artists such as Tim Burton, Dan Hipp, Mars 1, Andrew Kalb, and Jeff Soto. I enjoy meeting and talking with artists, so feel free to drop a line!

I draw subject matter from animals to humans, robots and aliens, several fandoms and several demographics including Anthro, Guro, and Pop Candy Surreal. As an IB student, I am required to explore many types of art to help develop a solid, consistent style. I enjoy creating characters and weird scenarios. My goal through my art is to expose the world to what's inside my head.
