"Scraf?" Thomas said, staring as the Scrafty took off into the forest. "WAIT! COME BACK!" he screeched, running after him but soon tripping over a root, falling face-first into the mud. Did I just do that? Sam thought, slowing down after out of his former-trainer's sight.

"It sounded like.." Obsidian began, before a new voice finished her sentence. "A Pokeball breaking." To the duo's shock, Sam, The very Scrafty who was normally to punish them if they did something incorrectly, sat on a tree-stump like nothing strange was happening.

Auraora flyed into a tree and sat on a branch hoping noting dangerous would happen sicne she ehard that noise that was a pokeball breaking but then eharing a rusling in a bush,thinking it was her trainer or something

"Did you... escape?" Obsidian said finally, recovering from her shock. The Scrafty nodded. "I realized how I was acting under the commands of Thomas was nothing like I normally am. I simply broke the Pokeball, and ran. He's probably out in the forest now, looking for his precious Scrafty who obeyed his every command. I'm Sam, since you probably didn't know."

"Stupid mud," the girl muttered, pulling herself out of the faceplant, not yet noticing the Pokemon around her.

"She doesn't look like the cruel type," Sam said.

"Yes," Blast said instantly.

"I dunno," Obsidian replied.

"Some trainers or Pokemon are just naturally like that," Blast said finally. He had been remembering his past. Cruel trainers, every time he escaped, was replaced, or he was released. Countless of them, most of them had equally cruel Pokemon as well. The closest thing he had to a friend while he was still an Eevee, was a young Absol, named Victory. He began to wonder where she was now..

"Yeah." Obsidian agreed, glad her friend was talking again. "Well, we shouldn't stay in one place for too long, I'm assuming we're sticking together?" Sam asked.

"Don't know and dont ca-" Blast began to say, then he saw a figure running to one of the trainer's who had faceplanted. "Ugh, Help me up Vic," The female trainer muttered as the now visible form- A mega evolved Absol- carefully helped the trainer to her feet. Vic. Victory. Absol. Mega Absol. his brain immediately made the connection, and he literally couldn't-and didn't believe it. The Absol turned her head slightly, and recognition flashed in her eyes. "Blast?"

"Hey, what are you staring at Blast, c'mon," Obsidian and Sam said to the oblivious Flareon.
