'Hunger constantly racks your stomach, you can't remember the last time you have had a good meal, you are always checking your food bowel in hope that your owner might have remembered to put food in it. You hopelessly lick a few stale crumbs from the bottom and reluctantly lap up the shallow puddle of grimy water. Why did they stop feeding you? Maybe you had too many carpet accidents or barked at the neighbors too loud...'

Abuse or neglect case:
Neglect
State of health when found:
Suffered badly from malnutrition. She had overgrown nails that dug into her pads and her fur was badly matted and dirty. She had open sores along her belly and the bottom of her paws from the rough floor of the shed. She also had open sores on her neck from a collar she had outgrown.
Living conditions when found:
Found in a storage shed in her master's backyard. The shed was hot and stuffy with little air circulation due to all of the clutter. Though she had food and water bowels, the water was grimy and gross and there was no food to see.
Fear of people on a scale of 1- 10:
3.5, although she had not suffered physical abuse, her trust and faith in people had deteriorated as her master visited her less and less
History:
She was bred and bought for show. But A DNA test had shown that she was not a full purebred. She was disqualified from showing. So her master, not knowing what to do with her, locked her in the shed in her backyard, hoping to destroy and forget about the Papillon puppy. She was found when a neighbor heard her yelping because she had twisted her paw between two warped floor panels. They called the Humane society and they sent officials over to retrieve her.

Character name: Frost
Male or Female? Female
Appearance:
Breed (optional): Pug
Abuse or neglect case: Abuse mixed with neglect.
State of health when found: She had many fleas and ticks, her bones were visible through her fur and her fur was matted and covered in dirt. It was also discovered she had a broken leg, and she was bruised in many places.
Living conditions when found: She was locked in a small room with little food and water every day, and rarely let out, not even to use the bathroom. She was usually beaten if she was heard through the door, so she is unusually quiet.
Fear of people on a scale of 1- 10: 9.
History: Over the 2 months of her life, she has had several owners, all of which abused or neglected her in some way, usually not treating fleas and ticks and not feeding or watering her, or beating her when she made noise. She is absolutely terrified of humans, since she has never met a good one. Eventually when her owner had a friend over, she was discovered in her small, stinking room.
Theme song (Optional): Nope .3.
Frost sat in the corner of the small room. It stinks in here, she thought, as her stomach growled, And I'm hungry. I wonder when the next feeding is. She struggled not to whimper as she began to think of her owner. Of how horrible it was here.. of how.. itchy she was. A small whimper escaped her throat, though her owner must have been nearby.
"What was that?" the man asked Frost's owner as he walked to the door to the room where Frost was held. "Oh, nothing," the Owner lied. The man opened the door to see Frost in the corner of the stinking room. "You keep a dog in here?!" he exclaimed to Frost's owner, shocked.
The man turned around to face Frost's owner. "Explain." he said, "No," the dog's owner replied, exiting the room. The next moment he heard a car start, and drive away. "Sheesh, your in bad condition little pug," the man said softly to Frost again, picking her up. "I'll take you somewhere you can get better care then this, I would take you myself but I cant."
