The Savannah Pride, as its name suggests, lives in the wide open plains of the Kenya savannah. The grass is always tall, the ground a bit rocky but not by much, an abundance of green leafy trees and shrubs, and large numbers of prey. This is the ideal dream of most lions, to live in a place such as this. However there are some flaws in living in the savannah. Many bush fires start in the hot, dry seasons. The sun is very powerful and can bake the ground till it is almost like stepping on hot coal. This can sometimes lead prey to find cooler places to find food and it may be on the opposite side of savannah.
River Pride
The River Pride, as its name suggests, live by the river. The surrounding area is heavily dense with tall grass and very little shadow from the few trees that are around. The river keeps a border between the two prides. When the dry season comes however, the river dries up and gives easy access to the Savannah Prides land. Other than that part of the season, the River Pride land is very much spacious and a sea of never ending tall grass. Even as the sun beams down on this part of the savannah also, there is always the option of jumping right into the river and cooling off. The River Pride lion aren’t afraid to get into water as in the wet seasons, the river over flows and turns this part of the land into a large wetland. The only place to get away from this natural occurrence is to head to higher ground that lies deep within the prides territory.
Background
Years ago, two young cubs were born. They were they sons of the lead male of the pride. They were named Jerro, the oldest by a few minutes and Roko, the younger of the two. The two brothers were destined to rule over the land once their father passed away. As days passed and became months they grew into adolescence. The other male cubs that grew alongside them had been kicked from the pride as they were surely going to be competitors for the throne. As those months turned into years they grew up. One rainy day, their father had become ill. Today was the day that they were to become the kings of the pride. Staying by his side, Jerro and Roko looked down at their father as he laid there in the rain. His breathing was becoming shallower, as ever minute passed making it seem like an eternity or waiting. His last words to his sons were the most important that they were to hear.
“Promise me this, after I leave, you will make good use of the land and believe in the pride. You and the pride shall be one in the never ending battle against the things life may throw at you.” The old dying king said before taking his last breath. Silence fell over the land as the pride mourned over his death. Jerro and Roko from that day promised that they would do as their father had wished upon them. However, one day they didn’t see eye to eye. This simple conflict broke out into a full blown bloody battle over who was to be the one to truly take over this land. The one that became victorious wasn’t the oldest but the youngest. This battle may have decided everything but it also tore the whole pride apart. Some of the others picked sides. Roko took over the land and banned Jerro from ever returning as well as the traders that were on Jerro’s side. Now there is a great rift amongst the brothers that may never be repaired. Their father’s words are gone from their minds and it seems that nothing will bring them back together. Destiny has chosen what was to happen and it is wise to not mess with it.

Jabari started to sneak into the lions pride.. with nobody looking she saw 2 female lions in charge with the male lion searching and guarding the den jabari was there to steal one of the lions cub.. luckily the other female lions are on a hunt she sees that the lion cub is gone she sees that it is next to the Male lion she decides to just leave as it was not worth it
