The school bell rang, and hundred of teens rushed out the doors, each one ready for summer vacation. Pidoves and Pidgeys flew across the sky, and occasionally, you would see a pokemon in the bushes or on the streets. After the croud, four teens walked out of the building. Rick, Daniel, Mike, and Andrea(first four main characters) were talking about the usual stuff. Sports, video games, and of coarse, their lives. "What are you three gonna do this summer?" Rick asked. "I have no idea," the other three answered. It was the first day of summer, and it was long awaited, but none of them had any plans. "I got to go help with chores!" Daniel said. "I got to help my mom at the day care!" Andrea said. "And I've got yard work!" Mike said. They each said goodbye, and went seperate ways, leaving Rick alone.
Rick was thirteen, and moved to Traverse Town(the town we're in) He always wanted to be a trainer, but his parents made him finish school and wouldn't let him, so he was not very happy. He always wanted to help out stranded pokemon, and give them a home, but the problem was that his parents hated pokemon, and thought they would hurt anything that got near it. Rick and his little sister, Lily, were the only ones in the family who liked pokemon, but their parents wouldn't change their perspective.
Rick took a walk through the park, so when he got home, it was nighttime. He went into his bedroom, and got ready for bed. "Man, I wish I could have an adventure," Rick said as he fell asleep. What he didn't know was that that was the start of something that would change the town forever.

When Rick woke up, he felt different. He felt smaller, and more powerful at the same time. "Weird..." he said. He noticed something was covering his face. It took a little bit to figure out what it was. "Is this... my shirt?" Rick asked himself. He got out of his shirt, and dropped onto the floor, literally. His bed was about as tall as he was! "What in the world?" Rick asked. He turned around to look in the big floor mirror, and saw a Quilava. Rick jumped. He was a pokemon! He looked at himself. He had paws and a blue back. His head flame went on and off when he wanted it, along with the tail flame thing. "Well, this isn't what I expected, but it's still awesome!" Rick exclaimed. He could still walk on two legs, but he found it easier to walk on all fours. "I can't wait to show this to Lily!" Rick said as he walked out of his room. He was in the living room, when he heard a scream. He turned to see his mom pointing at him in fear. "A pokemon!" she screamed. "Wait, Mom! I can ex-" Rick said, trying to calm his mom down. She didn't hear him over the sound of her yelling. Soon, Rick's dad came down. "They both hate pokemon..." Rick thought. "Wait Dad!" he yelled, but his dad couldn't hear him. Lily came into the living room, and her hands covered her mouth. "Wait, Dad, don't!" Lily said, but their dad didn't listen. "Get out!" their dad yelled. Rick backed up, shaking his head. "I said get out!" their dad yelled as he kicked Rick outside. Rick stared at his dad as his eyes swelled. He turned, and ran away, not looking back.

Rick was curled up near a bench on the side of a road. He felt like crying, but he forced himself not to. "Rick? Is that you?" a voice asked. Rick looked up to see Lily standing there. "How did you know it was me?" he asked. Lily shrugged. "You're still wearing your bandanna," she said, "Mom and Dad were too blind to notice." Rick looked at his neck, and noticed his red bandanna dangling there. He smiled. "At least somebody knows it's me," Rick said. He stood up, and noticed he was half Lily's size. "Well, shoot," Rick said, "My little sister is bigger than me now." Lily laughed, and she put her hand on Rick's head. Rick had to admit, it felt good, but as a joke he lit his head up a little. "Ouch!" Lily said as her hand recoiled. They both laughed for a while. "Wait... what am I supposed to do now?" Rick asked. Lily sighed. "I guess we'll have to try to talk some sense into them," she said.
Rick and Lily's parents were surprised when Lily stormed out of the house, so when there was a knock on the door, they rushed to get to it. They were surprised when Lily and the Quilava they kicked out were at the door. "Lily, why did you run away, and why is that pokemon still here?" their mom asked. "'That pokemon' is my brother, and your son," Lily said. The Quilava looked down. "Hi mom," Rick said. Their parents' eyes widened in surprise. "Rick!?" they yelled in, shock.

Andrea(who you may remember in chapter 1) was very confused. Today, she asked if Rick could come and hang out at her house, but his mom said he had something to do, so he couldn't go. It was weird. Rick usually would drop everything to hang out with his friends, and his mom wouldn't stop him. "I wonder what's up," Andrea wondered. She would figure it out though, she always figures it out. "I'm going to figure it out," Andrea said, "No matter what, I'm going to figure it out. The, she felt something. Her chest started to hurt, and then the rest of her body. "What the heck!?" Andrea said. She started to shrink, and her skin turned green and yellow. "WHAT THE HECK!?!" Andrea yelled.

The doorbell rang at Rick's house, and his mom answered the door, and was shocked. "Hi, this is Andrea, I was wondering if I could see Rick," Andrea said. "Sure, Rick is upstairs..." Rick's mom said.
Rick heard a knock. Since this morning, he has been practicing on his attacks. "Come in," Rick said a little too carelessly. The door opened, and a Servine was there. They both jumped. "Rick?" Andrea asked. "Andrea?" Rick said. They stared at each other, and then laughed. "Wow, I didn't think you'd get turned into a pokemon too!" Rick said. Andrea stared at him. "You were already a Quilava?" Andrea asked. "Since this morning," Rick answered. Andrea was shocked. "How did your parents react?" Rick asked. "They don't know yet," Andrea said, "What about yours?" Rick looked down. He still hasn't forgiven his parents for kicking him. Andrea got the picture. "Oh," she said.
Later, Rick and Andrea decided to go outside. "How do you walk on four legs that easily?" Andrea asked curiously. Rick shrugged. "It's easier for me now," he said, "How do YOU walk with a tail?" Andrea laughed. Rick was thinking about how he was now a pokemon. "I wonder what kinds of stuff I'll get to do?" he wondered. Then, he looked at Andrea, and thought of something. He started to grin. Andrea saw that he was grinning, and started to sweat a little. "What are you thinking of?" She asked. "I was thinking about I haven't had a battle yet," Rick said. Andrea's eyes widened. "No!" she said, "No no no no!" Rick got into a fighting stance. "Get ready," he said. Andrea sighed, and got ready to fight.

After the battle, Rick had to drag Andrea back to his house to get a potion to use on her. They decided to go break the news to Daniel and Mike. "Okay, Mike is over at Daniel's house," Rick said as he hung up the phone. "Okay then, lets go!" Andrea said.
Daniel told Mike that Rick and Andrea were coming over to show them something. "Did Rick say what it was?" Mike asked. "No," Daniel said, "But they should be here any seccond." As if on cue, the doorbell rang. "Can't wait to find out what they want to show us!" Mike said as he opened the door. A Quilava with a red bandanna and a Servine with a bow were at the door. "Hi guys!" they said at the same time. Daniel and Mike fell backwards in shock. "Rick!? Andrea!?" they exclaimed.
Rick walked over in front of them. "So, what's new?" he asked. "WHAT'S NEW!?" Mike and Daniel yelled at the same time. Rick chuckled. "You know, new games, new TV, the fact that you guys are growing fur... wait, WHAT!?" he exclaimed. It was true. Daniel was growing blue fur and Mike was growing orange fur. They both started to shrink. "WHATS GOING ON!?!" they exclaimed.

Daniel was now a Riolu, and Mike was a Buizel. "Now we're pokemon too!" they exclaimed. "Shoot my mom is not gonna be happy about this," Daniel said. As if on cue, Daniel's mom came in, and she screamed. Daniel sighed. "Looks like I have some explaining to do," he said as he walked over to his mom. "I'm gonna get the worst of it," Mike said, "My little sister loves small pokemon, and I believe I'm pretty small. She's going to squeeze me to death." As if on cue again, Mike's sister walked through the door. "Mike? I came here to tell you that Mom wants you home now. Mike groaned. "Hi," he said. Mike's sister blinked. "Mike? You're so small and cute now!" she said as she picked Mike up. "Umm... something tells me we should leave," Rick said, giving them an awkward smile as he walked out the door with Andrea following him. "Oh yeah, Rick," Andrea said. "Yeah?" Rick asked. Andrea slapped him wth a vine whip. "That's for making me fight you earlier," she said. Rick put his hand behind his head. "Yeah, I guess I deserve that," he said, grinning.
Andrea opened the front door with her vines. "Hey Mom, I'm home," she said. Her mom screamed. She sighed, and started to explain.

Sage was a fifteen year old girl who was very, VERY shy She had heard about what happened to Rick, Andrea, Mike, and Daniel, and she wondered if anybody else was going to turn into a pokemon. "Hey look! It's Shy Girl!" someone said. everybody was pointing and laughing at her. Sage lowered her head and ran into the girls bathroom. "I wish I wasn't so shy," she said to herself. Then, she felt something, her body started to tingle. "Oh no!" she said, "It's happening to me!" Sage's skin turned blue, and she started to shrink. her spine bended, and a tail shot out of her back. Her ears repositioned and got bigger, and her fingers marged together. She a transformed into a Nidorina. "Wow," she said. Suddenly, Sage didn't feel so shy anymore. She felt strong. She walked out of the bathroom with her head high. "Hey, it looks like shy girl really IS small now!" Jhon, the school bully said. "Shove it John!" Sage said, "Leave your little remarks for your dollies!" Everybody started yelling "Ohhhhhhhh!!!" while crowding a very ticked off John. Sage just smiled, and walked off. "I could get used to this," she said.

Tom was a ten year old boy who was a bit quirky, and sometimes shy, but not as shy as Sage was. He had also heard of the transformations, and was a bit surprised by Rick's transformation the most, considering he was Rick's cousin(YAAAAAY :D ). "I wonder what I would become if I transformed?" Tom wondered. Then, he started to shrink. "It's happening!" Tom exclaimed. He was excited and nervous at the same time. Black fur grew on his body, and his hands turned into paws. He fell on all fours, and a small muzzle grew. He had transformed into a Poochyena(I know you said Mightyena, but he's 10, think about it). "Wow!" Tom exclaimed. He had always liked Poochyena and Mightyena, now he was going to be them! "I can't wait to show this to Rick!" As if on cue, Rick walked by. "Rick!" Tom said, running up to him. Rick's eyes widened in surprise. "Tom?" Rick asked, "You're a Poochyena?" Tom laughed. "Says the Quilava," he said. They both laughed, and begun to talk.

(Every ten chepters, we check up on the people transformed into pokemon, so, lets get started!) Rick was sparring with Daniel, waiting for Andrea and Mike to get to the park, their usual spot. Andrea got there mid battle, but when the battle was over(Rick won), Mike still wasn't there. "I'll get him," Rick said with a sigh. When Rick got to Mike's house, Mike was being squeezed to death by his sister. It took half an hour for Rick to get back to the park. "What took you so long?" Daniel and Andrea asked. "Sorry," Rick said, "I had to get Mike's sister to stop hugging him." Mike started blushing, and Rick, Andrea, and Daniel laughed.
Sage wasn't shy anymore, but she was still shy around a boy named Ace. She had a BIG crush on hin, but she never had the courage to ask him out until now. "Sage?" a voice asked. Sage turned to see Ace. "Y-yes?" she said, blushing. "I was wondering... if you would like to go on a date?" Ace asked, blushing a little. Sage's eyes widened. "Y-yes," she answered, "Yes I would!" Ace smiled, and they began to chat.
Tom was at the park, running around, free. He had nothing to do, nothing to see, and his new ability to understand pokemon was very helpful.(forgot to mention that people that transformed can understand other pokemon, but still talk in their human language). He was running around with a wild Growlithe when John stepped in front of him, holding a pokeball in his hand. Tom's eyes widened. "No," he said, "No! No way! I'm a human!" John grinned evilly. "Don't worry, it won't hurt, I think," he said. John threw the pokeball at Tom, as he covered his head with his hands, waiting for what was going to happen. The pokeball hit Tom, then bounced off harmlessly. "What!?" John yelled, "I spent all my money on that!" Tom laughed. "I guess it's not your lucky day!" he exclaimed as John stormed off(humans transformed into pokemon can't be caught).
(And that's our first check on the transformed pokemon!)

John was very ticked off about the pokeball incident. He had stolen a bunch of lunch money for that pokeball, and it was a defect(not really)! "I'm gonna beat that little dog so hard..." he said. Then, HE started to transform. His arms and hands merged into drills, he grew wings out of his back, and his eyes turned red. His skin gre yellow, and his legs turned black. He had transformed into a Beedrill. "This'll work," John said, grinning evilly.
Meanwhile, Rick was at the park, watching Tom play with Growlithe, when a Beedrill came along. "Hello, idiot," John said. Rick's eyes widened when he saw that John was a Beedrill. He ran in front of Tom, and used ember on John. "Back off my cousin!" Rick shouted. John fainted after the tiny attack. They stared at John for a bit, and when Rick and Tom knew that John wasn't getting up, they laughed.

Ace was getting ready for his date with Sage. "Umm... Ace?" his mom asked. "Yeah?" Ace said. "I don't think you should go on that date," Ace's mom said. "What? Why?" Ace asked. "Because, she's a pokemon, and you're a human," his mom said. "Mom, she WAS a human, it's normal," Ace said. Ace's mom just sighed, and walked out of his room. Ace sighed. His mom wasn't the only one who thought it was weird. Many people were teasing him for asking out a pokemon. "I wish people would stop making fun of me," he said. Then, he felt a strange feeling in hus stoumach. "Whats going on?" he said. His skin turned purple, and got thicker. His legs and arms shortened, and he fell on four legs. He started to shrink, and horns grew on his head. He had became a Nidorono. "Well, this'll work," he said. "Ace! Sage is here!" Ace's mom said. "Okay!" Ace said, and walked out of his bedroom, and into the living room. Sage and Ace's mom were both surprised. Ace just smiled. "Ready to go Sage?" Ace asked. Sage smiled. "Yes," she said.
