Shadow was running around as a wolf, he was pitch-black, and ran right past auraora through the shadows of the trees.

Shadow continued running until he made it back to his den, to where he shaped back to his human self, and he had a belt with a red, blue, and white ball attached to it. He tossed the ball to reveal a Riolu he hadn't evolved yet, and he started talking to it.
