She heard small noises beside her. Was that Silver? Once he was
back on the roof, she silently got up. A small glimmer caught her
eye. She picked up the amulet and examined it, wondering if Silver
put it there. She put it in her pocket and tip-toed to the roof.
She snuck up behind Silver and sat down.
He felt her coming. He knew all of her sounds and emotions. He
turned to face her and hugged her tight and smiled "I couldn't
sleep. I keep thinking what if something separated us again" He
gave her a slightly sad look thinking about it. He didn't want to
be separated from her ever again
She was a bit startled by the hug, but she embraced it. “Clingy
much?” She joked, laughing as she finished saying it. “I don’t
either...” she sighed as she looked up at the sky.
He lightly laughed and held her feeling at peace for the first time
in a long time. He looked at the sky with her "I won't let anything
separate us again. Not even space or time itself"
“A determined one, aren’t you?” She chuckled a bit before slightly
frowning. What if he somehow lost his memory again? What if he
breaks that promise? These thoughts kept her from trusting in a
promise, kept her from having hope. She watched as the stars danced
in the open sky.
"Very determined" He laughed and smiled "Don't worry. When I make a
promise I keep it" He meant it. He knew what she was feeling. He
had a deep connection with her. It must be why he didn't go far
from her when he lost his memories. He slid his arms around her and
layed his head gently on her shoulder
She laid her head on his and looked around at the scene in front of
them. Since they were above most of the trees, she had a really
nice view. The small patch of city to the right of her seemingly
ruined it, but it added a nice balance. Light and dark. Nature and
city. Her eyes were growing a bit heavy, but she knew they wouldn’t
close for a while.
He felt comfortable with his arms wrapped around her, his head on
her shoulder and her head on his. He felt happy and at ease. He
looked over the forest. The veiw was amazing. Except for the city.
It did give it a nice balance though. He wished the city was a bit
further away though. He tried to not fall asleep. He wanted to stay
awake with her for a bit longer
She started to fidget with her bracelet, just a simple gold wire
with beads. She liked being at peace, even when she thought that
being alone would do that. Turns out, she hated being alone.
He gently grabbed her wrist and wrapped her arms around him. He
felt she was over thinking. He wanted to keep her mind at peace. He
didn't like being alone. Although he preferred it be her to have
that time with
She looked at Silver, wondering why he did that. She sighed as she
turned her head back to the stars. She couldn’t help but to over
think, she just had so much on her mind.
He fell asleep holding her. After a few minutes he felt her
nightmare. He woke up and tried to sooth her by humming to her and
laying her head on his chest
She was shivering a bit, but not a lot. This nightmare seemed like
a normal one, nothing out of the ordinary, until it got further in.
It didn’t feel that bad due to Silver, but it was still awful.
He carried get carefully down to the bed and played down with her.
He covered them up and held her making sure she was warm and
comfortable enough. He wrapped his arms around her and closed his
eyes and continued to hum to her
