Lise raised an eyebrow. "This has to be some kind of joke, right? Defense Against the Dark Arts?" She asked. Troye just shrugged. "Maybe this is some prank they just pull on the first years." He said.

Nyx looks over at Magi."What if our powers are not combat based?"She mouths to her and gets a shrug for an answer.Angel just shakes her head and opens her book to the page the teacher said to while listening as Magi and Nyx do the same.

(You didn't miss too much, just people putting things in their lockers and homeroom, and things are very strange.)

Troye hesitantly opened his book, as did Lise, but she was intrigued. This obviously wasn't a regular school, so what other things could possibly be in the book? And, it might have some answers to her many questions. Troye also popped one earbud into his left ear, because that was what he normally did.

"Why am I pipsqueak and Nyx is Goddess?" Anubis growled as he tried smoothing his hair down. Anubis then pulled out his textbook and 10 pencils before opening his textbook and reading with a glare.

"Whatever...goblin..." Anubis whispered the last part of his sentence. Anubis then picked up one of his pencils and poked Angel with it. A sly smile appeared on his face as the tip made contact with her arm.

Lise had gotten out an additional notebook and was writing furiously. Troye had put his book in his lap, and his phone on top of it, both earbuds in now. He would read later, he just couldn't concentrate right now. But the teacher said they all had a power. That meant he and Lise had powers too. But what could they be?
