Companions for Life RP
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Companions for Life RPWalking to his room he pulled out a note book and pencil and began to right down all the symbols he saw. Partly due to his graphic memory, and partly due to Leonidas's graphic memory. Page after page he wrote calmly frowning once he was done.
Corrie had no idea what the Choosing actually entailed, so she just said in one of the chairs and took a look around. There was a lot of different Creaturas. There was what looked like a king cobra, and... Was that a suit of armor? It was strange, but amazing at the same time.
The one that caught her eye was a huge, Blue Phoenix. It was perched on the rafters, and she had nearly missed it, but the feathers (flames?) were bright enough to catch her attention. The Creatura was looking her over, and Corrie tried not to squirm uncomfortably.
The Phoenix apparently liked what it saw, because it flew down and landed next to her, and began preening her hair. Corrie had almost flinched away from the flaming bird, but relaxed when she realized the feathers weren't actually burning her.
My name is Azura. The Phoenix stated, before Corrie could even ask. I can heal people with my flames, or burn them. What is your name little one?
"Corrie." Corrie answered, not sure what else to say. "Nice to meet you Azura."
Xero stroked his chin looking at the drone, and began to climb a shelf, walking closely to the drone. He extended a small rocky hand and began to reach for the drone, gently grabbing it and setting it down on the shelf saluting Alexander.

Ricky frowned putting on his new clothes. He had a sudden craving for wine. It didn't matter what kind so long as he had a bottle. He shook his head. He never had drank any type of alcohol before and wondered why he felt the strong desire for it. Could it be because of Leonidas?

Jake twirled his sword and nodded at Emperius entering his armor. "Fire armor." As he said that Emperius went from to black to red. His sword now became a giant pair of scissors, which he found he could separate into two large swords, or put them together and use them as scissors. A nifty trick.

Lola, no Lydia entered the school, happily wearing her outfit which she hoped would remind others of a fire like she intended. She spoke a bit, making sure to see if she perfected her American accent. She nodded a bit satisfied with herself. This would be the first step of her new life away from France. She chose an American accent as it sounded like it would be universal.
She entered calmly looking around at anything and twirling to try and see it bumping into a small man by accident. Well maybe not a man, he appeared to look more like a goblin.
The goblin nodded at her, "Yes. She will do." Child like innocence, carefree, and kind. The perfect test to see how good his toys were.
"Ma'am. May you tell me what you think of this?" he asked pulling out a unicorn figure.
Lydia bent down examining it. The details were outstanding. The rings on the horn. The horse shoes, the tail area, and the ears all looked like they were done by a professional, however... "The back legs are a bit longer than the front legs so it will never run properly and it would look bizarre walking."
Toy Master slapped his head. Of course. How could he miss it? "Please follow me to my workshop so I can your opinion on your other toys I created."
Lydia nodded handing him the unicorn but he shook his head, "Keep it."

Matt entered the school looking around at everything taking off his hat and trench coat looking at everything. Saluting the flag he went to the front desk, "Commander Mathew Graves. I have permission to enter."
"Commander. O-5 in the Navy. CDR. You are in the middle of the top part of the army. You have a silver leaf, a star, three stripes, along with another star and three stripes. Your next rank will be Captain." came the response of a girl next to him.
"You sure know a lot ma'am. My name is Mathew Graves, though my father was also named Mathew, so just call me Matt if you don't mind." Matt replied to the girl offering a handshake.
"Handshake. Estimated to be created in between 70-38 BC. It was of Antiochus I Theos of Commagene shaking hands with Heracles. We shake with right hands become it is most people's dominant hand and it also showed one you were unarmed." she replied calmly.
"Very smart," Matt began wondering if she spent all her time reading. Well hopefully he could learn her name without some long rant. "You haven't told me your name ma'am."
"Are you trying to flirt with me?", she asked looking up to see him better, due to her short height.
"No, ma'am. Just asking your name. Flirting is different," Matt replied after a few moments not sure what all to say.
"Flirt, created in the mid sixteenth century. Used as a verb it meant sharp blow or sneer at. As a noun it meant joke, gibe, or flighty girl. Example, can I borrow a kiss? I promise to give it back," she replied before stopping as if to ponder what he said, "Crystal. In Greek it was Krustallos. In Latin Crystallum. In Old French it was Cristal. At late old English it became Crystal."
"Well you are intriguing. Do you have a companion?"
"Companion. Noun. A person or animal with whom one spends a lot of time or with whom one travels. A person who shares the experiences of another, especially when these are unpleasant or unwelcome. A person, especially an unmarried or widowed woman, employed to live with and assist another. And no I lack a companion," came her long response.
"Well I need a companion. Will you be willing to be my companion and my second in command in this endless war?" Matt asked extended his hand once again.
Crystal seemed to surprised for a moment before masking it shaking his hand, "Yes. Si. Oui. Ja. Da. Sure. Sigur. Sur. Sicuro."
Corrie didn't know where to go next, so she decided to head to the library. She had always loved reading, and she wanted to know more about the school. The nature of her partner gave her pause though. "If we go to the library, would you acidentally burn the books?"
Azura gave her a look, as if the very idea was silly. Corrie gave a sheepish smile in reply, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Having found the library, Corrie sat next to another girl (Nyx) reading Hansel and Gretel, "The Life and Times of Creatura" in her hands.. Azura stared at said girl unblinkingly. The Phoenix could sense that the girl had been in contact with something dangerous, though she didn't know exactly what it was. (Wendigo)

Matt smiled at Crystal, "Can you show me your favorite room please?"
Crystal seemed to ponder before grabbing his hand and walking over to the library, before grabbing many books and sitting down motioning for Matt to sit next to her.
Matt nodded and sat, "Figures you would like this room a lot. It really suits you. Do you know where the history section is?"
"That's all I can ask for. Just dont put yourself in danger. Take Jia with you if you have to." Galaxy says as Licha walks of. She smiles down at Cosmo. "Grab me a book on Ancient Creatura please?"
Cosmo nods and lopes off.
Matt began reading but stopped to look at Crystal who was half way done with a thousand page book. "Why do you read if you have the internet in your head?"
Crystal pondered and a moment later spoke, "Not everything is on the internet."
