"Sweet. Alright, Grubs, do your best."
Grubs hopped off Doug's head and landed on the ground surprisingly gracefully. It snapped it's pincers threateningly, and prepared to fight.
"So, uh, just so ya know... this is my first trainer battle. So don't be too harsh on my skills, yknow?"
"Alright, Grubs, Mud Slap!"
Grubs obeyed, chucking mud at Meowth.

Nyx smiles happily before an idea came to her."Should we start up a fire since most of us are pretty much soaked now?"She asks tilting her head in wonder.Both Venus and Benny were out of their pokeballs and talking to the other pokemon.

Meowth recoiled from the attack and disgustedly tried to groom out some of the mud in its fur. "Meowth! Use Leer!" The Pokemon looked disdainfully into Grubbin's eyes, lowering its defense.

Grubs did not close her eyes and took the full effect of the attack, while also being mortally terrified.
"Okay, mud slap lowered the accuracy, we got this. Use Bug Bite!"
Grubs obeyed again. It rushed at Meowth and performed the attack.

Meowth leapt back from the attack, but tripped on a branch and did not evade the hit. "Come on, Meowth! You've got this! Use Bite!" Meowth looked up skeptically, on its last shreds of health. It ran to pounce on Grubs, but landed just to the left of him, dealing barely any damage. "Oh man, Meowth! Doug, I hope your Grubs is ready to get pummeled, because my next Pokemon are going to be even stronger!

Grubs performed the attack with surprisingly high accuracy. It grabbed Meowth's leg, crushing it with her pincers and tossing him to the side.
"Hardly even broke a sweat! 'Sides, if worst comes to worst, I can always switch out."

Rama called a dismayed Meowth back into its ball and flicked open another Pokeball swiftly. "Go, Wimpod! Use Hail!" Rama crowed, "It's super effective, and Grubs' defense is already low!" She triumphantly smiled.

Grubs barely survived. He squeaked, dismayed and in pain.
"Jeez- throwing out a new guy and using a move two seconds in." He made a "pfttht" sound and sighed.
"Grubs. Spark!"
Grubs sent a spark at Wimpod, preparing to roll away from any attack.
"Hang in there, pal, I'll swap ya out in a sec. Just hold on!"
Doug shouted words of encouragement to his tired Pokémon.
It seemed to motive Grubs almost.

The spark held Wimpod back for a second, but he readied himself quickly. "Wimpod! Finish him off!" Wimpod scuttled towards Grubs at a lightning speed and delivered a tackle that almost missed. It seemed to be enough that Grubs would have to go back. Rama smugly looked at Doug.

Anubis grumbled to himself as he was walking about. "Who does he think he is! Oh nevermind...Ahhh!" Anubis tripped over..."A Bagon? Where did you come from?" Anubis asked the pokemon as he stood up.

Nyx looks over to see Bagel run up to her with a few sticks in his mouth."Thank you Bagel."She says gently taking the sticks from him and adding them to her stack.She quickly places them down and places rocks around the pile.She grabs a lighter out of her bag and lights the sticks on fire.She then turns back to Bagel.She smiles and pulls a Patteren Berry out of her bag."Here you go.For being such a bif help."She gives it to him and gently pets him.She turns to Anubis and returns his hug."Yep this is Justin's Bagon.His name is Bagel."
